When I was a kid, I thought The Iron Giant had some of the best non-Disney Hand-drawn animation I have ever seen, and I still hold by that statement even now (especially since Hand-drawn animation is so rare now😔).

Sheesh, eyes on pencil tests look more lively than in the finished movie, how that's even possible?!

I can tell the scheduling was rough on this one because the storyboard seems to flow a lot differently than the finished product itself

The top half is more visually pleasing to look at than the bottom imo, this looks awesome!

The iron giant was such a passion project and you can tell. The sheer artistic integrity and care put into this film is unmatched in my opinion, it’s gorgeous
