In ways I never could've imagined. To Valorant - thank you for being my canvas and being something more than just a game. To the community - thank you for your endless love and support throughout this journey. To my friends - I wish I could tag each and every one of you. I highly recommend listening to this moving conversation between Chuck Swindoll and his daughter, Colleen Thompson, which took place in 2022, when Swindoll was 88 years old. In it, he shares details about the pain of being raised in a home where he was shown almost no affection and was bluntly informed that he had been "a mistake." His concluding prayer is poignant and reveals the heart of a man who has learned through hardship to be humble, grateful, joyful, and content: "Lord, we are grateful that You do know the way that we take. You never learn that way. You know it. You knew it would be like it is today, and You knew that in eternity past. You're always on our side. No one could love us more than You love us. No one could have more compassion for us or have our good at heart more than You do. So grateful... Remind us of David's words: 'I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined unto me and heard my cry. He lifted me up from a horrible pit and put my feet on a rock and established my goings. I met President Trump the first time at Mar-a-Lago years ago in what turned out to be a very surreal moment. He had tweeted praisingly about me and my work multiple times, but to be really honest- when you’re meeting him face to face you really don’t know for sure if he’ll know who you are. He grabbed me by my arm and took me around to all the tables at Mar-a-Lago and said to the guests, “Do you know who he is? He’s getting everybody to WALK AWAY from the Democrat party- it’s really something.” I legit started having an out of body experience. Then he talked with me one on one for a while, and leaned in and said to me… “how do you like those retweets?” I couldn’t believe it. In a few minutes time he completely validated that he really does know and see what I’m doing, and it is really him who is commenting on it. I showed him my iPhone case, which has a copy of the first tweet he ever published about # WalkAway, saying, “congratulations to Brandon Straka for starting something very special”. He loved it. Thank you, Donald J. Trump for opening my eyes to the truth and changing my life forever. Thank you for pardoning me from a crime I didn’t commit. And thank you for all of your sacrifices to save America. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. PRESIDENT!!!

On top of that, the subbing app didn’t cooperate and frustrated me so much. 😭 Some thought it could be released in just a couple of days, but I was also working a full-time job, so I didn’t have many hours each day to work on it. There were nights I was so exhausted that I fell asleep with my iPad literally on my face. 😅 I’m doing this purely out of love for JS, and as a way to unwind and relieve stress after work, not to stress myself out even more lol.
