But, I hope this is worth it to experiment with this animation, and the greenscreen. Which someday in the future, I'll be making better of greenscreen so, stay tune for this. And thank you guys, for your patience and supporting me to make this animation as possible. Sam Altman’s Last Talk as OpenAI CEO On Thursday night Sam Altman was on a stage at Robot Heart’s Residency, presented by PlayAlchemist. On Friday, he was removed as CEO by the board of Open AI. While we don’t know what happened, we do know that his conversation with Android Jones, visionary digital artist, on “AI and the Future of Art” was transformative, and worth sharing. So...here you go! Thank you to both Sam Altman and Android Jones for their candor. Truly a joy to work with you both. Looking forward to Sam being back at the helm!

Janet Mills did **everything** the open borders leftists wanted. She gave $100s of millions to migrant NGOs -- free housing, free health care, EBT cards, you name it. She signed the anti-ICE law. She ends her political career getting screamed at by leftists from out of state who are treating her like she's a common criminal. There's a lesson in there for Democrats who're trying to salvage their party and brand.

YU MENGLONG’S ‘STOMACH CUT OPEN’ FOR USB DRIVE: CHILLING VIDEO AND AUDIO CLIPS ALLEGEDLY BEFORE CHINESE ACTOR ALAN YU’S DEATH SURFACE; HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR Dearest gentle readers, The mystery surrounding the death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong, also known as Alan Yu, has taken an even darker turn. New video and audio clips circulating online suggest a brutal assault, with claims that Yu’s stomach was cut open to retrieve a USB drive. According to Vision Times, the recordings—shared by a Chinese X account “News Investigation”—allegedly capture Yu’s final hours. Disturbingly, faint voices can be heard shouting: “Spit it out!” and “Cut open his stomach for me!” while a weakened male voice believed to be Yu pleads in the background. Another voice orders: “Don’t mind him, he won’t die!” One video, reportedly filmed by a neighbor through a peephole, shows Yu being dragged by multiple assailants from the Bulgari Hotel to another site, the Sunshine Upper East complex. Actress Song Yiren can allegedly be seen recording on her phone, while another clip shows actor Fan Shiqi intercepting Yu in a parking lot, beating him, and forcing him into a car. Authorities had initially ruled Yu’s September 11, 2025 death in Beijing as an intoxicated fall from a building. But these emerging clips suggest a far more sinister sequence of events—one involving torture, violence, and an alleged cover-up. The revelations have left fans horrified and demanding accountability, as speculation grows over who exactly is behind this chilling tragedy. It looks like we’re living through the modern-day Third Reich. When you can’t open your mouth without fear of arrest. When standing against genocide makes you a criminal. When holding to account the state of Israel—whose Prime Minister is wanted by the Hague, whose Defence Minister is wanted by the Hague—gets you dragged from your home by British police. It’s beyond shameful. A doctor, a woman who has already lost family in Gaza, who has been hounded by the system, targeted by the state, and publicly persecuted by the NHS and by Wes Streeting, is now being punished for speaking the truth. This is Britain, in 2025—where the government, the police, and the long arm of Israel reach into our homes, our hospitals, our speech. Dr Rahmeh Aladwan has stood up with nothing but words, compassion, and courage. She has spoken for her people while grieving her own, while trying to heal others. And for that, she’s treated like an enemy of the state. This is not law. This is repression. This is the silencing of conscience. The overreach is staggering, and the hypocrisy even greater. Britain cannot call itself a democracy while it arrests doctors for opposing genocide. Release Dr Rehana immediately. The world is watching.

Constructive dialogue continues. I received a call from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas #MoPNG. Team Bharat has been invited by the Ministry of Petroleum for a follow-up meeting within the next three -Four days to further discuss consumer choice, fuel pricing, and the concerns raised by citizens. We sincerely thank Hon’ble Minister Shri Hardeep Singh Puri ji for his willingness to engage with us and for taking the concerns of the common citizens seriously. His decision to invite us again for another round of discussions reflects a constructive approach towards finding meaningful and practical solutions. We also thank the Ministry for keeping this dialogue open. Our commitment remains unchanged to work constructively while ensuring that the voice of every Indian consumer is heard and that practical, consumer-centric solutions emerge from this engagement. Dialogue is meaningful only when it leads to action, and we remain hopeful that together we can bridge the gap between policy objectives and consumer interests.

PM Orbán puts his intentions out in the open: ❗️PM Orbán: the elections in Hungary are "about who wins this game in Brussels." "Make Europe Great Again!" The Brussels progressives are squeezing Hungary from the west, the Ukrainians from the east. My friends, now more than ever, if we win here, we will not only protect Hungary, but also break down the gate of the progressives to Brussels. We will win this election, and after that we will not stop, but move forward, because the future of Europe should be decided not by bureaucrats, but by the nations of Europe. This is our mission, our time has come, to triumph, Make Europe Great Again! Thank you for being with you.

One year ago today, on Veterans Day 2024, we relaunched Small Wars Journal under Arizona State University’s Future Security Initiative. The timing was deliberate. We choose this day to honor service, sacrifice, and the enduring commitment to understand the character of conflicts. In the past year, our authors, readers, and partners have rebuilt SWJ into a thriving forum for professional discourse, with half a million monthly page views, tens of thousands of active readers, and a growing community that continues to challenge assumptions and advance ideas. 🔱 To our veterans, thank you for your service, and for continuing the fight to think critically and write honestly. 🔱 To our contributors and readers, thank you for keeping the small wars conversation alive and relevant. Here’s to the next year with sharp minds, open hearts, strong voices, and the pursuit of a powerful discourse in complex times. Sincerely, The Small Wars Journal Team PS. Stay tuned all Veteran's Month long, as we will be showcasing our rich history and what Small Wars Journal means to us. What does #SmallWarsJournal mean to you? Have a favorite piece?
