:facepalm: Firstly: it's only a mocap lol. Taking a raw mocap and using it as is wasnt the problem for quite some time. Yes, recording from the video will make it considerably cheaper than to set up an entire mocap studio with suits. Still, you probably want some studio setup to suspend the actor for all aerial, or otherwise dynamic and requiring lots of space, moves As for animating: on this very example, you have a proof that animators are still needed and why. These animations could use exaggeration and stylization , to match the fantasy hero better. Because they're stiff and unattractive af

I'm not against AI but those foot slips , weights not getting register and lots of spacing issue in animation definitely requires an animator.

Animators are not needed anymore. With this tool you can ask an actor to stretch their faces, remove their eyes from their sockets, etc... record it in video and ask the ai to wipe your as... I mean, do the job for you.

Uhm this is just an alternative to mocap, it still needs cleanup, and probably quite a bit more then mocap does
