Director Keenen Ivory Wayans waited until after shooting the rest of 'Scary Movie' (2000) before filming the opening scene with Carmen Electra because the studio kept pushing back on having her join the cast. The Studio didn't want to cast her as they thought she was cheesy. Wayans tried to explain the reason for casting her, but they didn't think she could do the role. Wayans finally asked the studio to allow him to shoot the scene & if it doesn't work out, he promised to shoot the scene with someone else. In the words of Keenen Ivory Wayans: "Miramax just didn't want to cast her. They didn't think she could do it. They thought she was cheesy, because—and this is no disrespect to Carmen—she was one of the first celebrities to be known more for who they were than for what they'd done, you know? But what they didn't like about Carmen was what made her perfect, and that's what I kept trying to explain. I kept saying to them, 'Look, trust me. If it doesn't work, then we can hire somebody else, but let me at least shoot it.' And so they finally gave in, and not only was Carmen amazing and really got what was funny about her [being the target], she just committed 100 percent to it." Lisa Barlow says Teresa Giudice is a true girls’ girl! ❤️ Teresa and the other #RHUGT women stood up for Lisa, and Lisa says she’s never experienced that kind of support on her own franchise… at least not in the same way she gives it to others. This young lady was trying to finish her workout in the machine when another woman attempted to kick her off of it because she’s in a rush. The woman claimed the young lady was already on the machine for 10 minutes and felt entitled enough to say that it’s her turn now. What would you do? I would ignore her in hopes she walks away, at least the whole thing is on camera so she can report it. After working out for about 30 years now, I can say that most of the time gym people are pretty chill people. Every so often I see some Karen types beginning to come in and ruin the experience for other people. What I hate is they try to rush me off the machine only for them to sit there and scroll on their phone. I used to avoid the confrontation by just letting them use it, I can always come back to it I would say to myself. After seeing so many of them so comfortable with imposing their will on others I now just ignore them, I won’t even acknowledge them, that’s why I have headphones on anyways, it’s my excuse to ignore them without being rude. It doesn’t make sense to me by getting out of their way when I was first. I understand if I was on there for a long time then maybe I will let them go first but the way I see it, I am every bit entitled to use it when I get there first, I shouldn’t have to get out of the way just because they want me to. Would you do the same? I would like to think most people would agree with me on this matter.

We had some good times with Blockbuster didn’t we? Oh the memories of going in on a Saturday night to pick a movie with my brothers. I remember my mom wanted a movie so bad and it was all “sold out.” As my brothers and I went to leave the cashier was like “wait that movie just came in.” I was like 16 years old and that joy still sticks with me to this day. I wish I could remember what movie though.😂 You had to be there to understand. ❤️

I always had the passion in me to be the best. It was never about the money, the clout, but simply my love for this esport. As I’ve grown into my career, aspects that brought me this joy began to fade. It was never a dream of mine to go pro in Call of Duty.. but man does it feel like I have truly lived one. This coach was teaching his students how to play dodgeball. He started with teaching them how to dodge the ball. He gave them an advantage by using a bigger ball than they would be normally using. Was he crossing the line for pelting them? As I mentioned before I was pretty good at the game, I used to throw the ball insanely hard, most of the time the other kid’s didn’t have time to react. The only rule we had in school was no head shots. I remember being sat out of gym for dodgeball because I saw an opening and I took the shot. I was aiming for her feet and not anything else. However she decided she would try to slide because she thought I was going to throw it high. She slid right into the path of the ball and got belted in the head, knocking off her glasses and breaking them. Of course she cried, I felt bad for it as I wasn’t trying to hit her in the face nonetheless throw the ball at her hard. But it didn’t matter, i still was punished for it even though i tried to explain how it was an accident. I wasn’t punished beyond that but being sat out of the game was punishment enough for me since I liked the game so much. Being a parent now I get it, I wouldn’t want that to happen but I would understand it as part of the game. Would you be upset if another kid hit your child in the face with the ball or is it really just part of the game? I think it’s time we bring this game back to schools.

For the longest time 30+ family and friends chipped in to a private company and we could always fly that way. I never really flew commercial too much, only a handful of times. I never liked it. I hate the crowds, I hate waiting for my bags. Some people can be always unruly. The worst for me is when I had to sit by someone who would always give the attendant a hard time, treating them like a personal assistant, barking orders at them and admonishing them for what they consider substandard service. This woman sitting across the aisle from me thought she was at an all inclusive buffet. She would say “excuse me miss” as a way of getting their attention and she always used a fake sugary sweet voice and was acting polite but I could tell it wasn’t authentic, it was a way to demean the workers. She made the poor attendant kept going back and forth and getting her refills even though she was serving somebody else. She would repeatedly ask for snacks and seconds when the meal was served. I have no idea why they complied but they did. Most of us were just sitting there watching and waiting for the attendant to snap, but she was professional the whole time. This was at a time where most people weren’t going to embarrass themselves making a scene because the people who treat them like this are used to the attention, it’s almost as if they are picking a fight intentionally. The rest of the flight was uneventful. This was a long flight to Asia for me, I think the attendant knew if she angered the woman, she would then become even more difficult so she just took it. I would have cut her off a long time before she started taking advantage.
