Yep - Skyler White went through hell. You just have to put yourself in her shoes. She’s a mama protecting her family. Her marriage to Walt was being put through trials constantly as he changed into Heisenberg, someone that Skyler didn’t even know anymore. One thing remained constant, she was always thinking of her kids.

I’ve watched and rewatched BB (and BCS) many times. The thing I don’t like about Skyler is her controlling and judgmental nature, it made me dislike her character from the first episode. Also, her saying she learned how to lie from Walt, that was utter bullcrap. Walt was a terrible liar! Skyler seemed like she was born to it. Then she decided to use Walt’s crimes to her benefit. She wanted the money, she wanted the car wash, she wanted to control Ted so she used drug money to do it, and on and on. She was far from innocent and saying it was all “for the children” just never made sense to me, from a viewer’s perspective.

She’s a fantastic character. I wasn’t the biggest fan of her for the better part of the first 3 seasons, but by the time the show ended I’d almost say she’s my favourite character. Anna Gunn is incredible and Skylar White’s situation is the one I sympathize with the most

Even if we forgive her for cheating on Walt, she even gave Ted the drug money to cover his ass. She couldn't have backed a worse horse. Skylar is easily hated. She did many things right, but she's still infuriating.

They did a really good job at writing her to seem as if shes overreacting or obnoxious but she truly is a woman with no answers watching her husband and family fall apart. Shes such a complex character with amazing writing.
