What can I say about Anna Sawai’s portrayal of Mariko in Shogun? She was fragile but not fragile like a flower, she was fragile like a bomb. That mix of fragility & strength makes Mariko 1 of the best female characters I’ve seen in my lifetime. Unforgettable. Well done Anna 👏🏼
