This week, we have the one and only Big Fish, BIG FISH , on the pod. We discuss the new album, how he secured some OGs, such as Yinka Ayefele, to work on the project alongside him, and also the true inspiration behind this new project. He takes us through his thought process and unique approach from album to album, which we think makes him a true artiste versus some of your favourites. AG also offers singles some dating advice (as a married man with necessary relationship certifications) and some business advice as well. We talk about our personal favourite songs on the album, and he also drops some Easter eggs in the episode about upcoming performance dates and news to expect regarding the album. In 2016, Major Gen(Rtd) Benon Biraato Buta proposed, in his manifesto, that if elected, he would build fish feeds factories and feed the fish in our lakes and rivers. To us Karimojongs who believe in cows, his ideas seem to be far-fetched and out of reality. China is the leading country in aquaculture in natural waters. Indonesia feeds fish in its rivers and lakes and produces in excess of 15 million MT tones of fish. We produce about 15k MT from our aquaculture. Egypt does it as many others. We earn only about USD150m. Our true potential is about USD 4-5bn. It is only in a country, blessed with fresh water lakes and rivers more than any other in the continent, where our ambitions stops at building a single carriage 7 year lifespan roads and chest thump the whole 5 years until next operation to select the next round of leaders. Countries only transform when its leaders set ambitions so high and start to do extraordinary things. Anyways, we are told PDM is now going to be 200m. Go grab it as it lasts.

Yesterday, I apparently broke the internet with the hot and spicy subject of….Social Security and retirement. Today I broke down what are actually two separate arguments that many are incorrectly conflating: 1. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme that is 100% going to bankrupt the country. 2. It’s a free country - if you have the money to retire and you want to, that’s your choice. But work is a large part of a fulfilling and purposeful life, and retirement as we know it today—sending the elderly out to pasture to wither away—is not how we were created to live. Take a look:

Have disagreements between radiologists on the degree of cervical canal stenosis become a pain in the neck? This month’s AJNR SCANtastic has the latest about Cspine MRI! In the Cspine, we need to think about canal stenosis & the cord. No matter the degree of stenosis, if the cord isn’t happy, the patient won’t be either Here’s how to grade canal stenosis & cord flattening: CANAL STENOSIS Cord swims in CSF, like a fish in water. Like a fish, it needs room to swim. How much room is in the fish bowl determines stenosis 🔸Mild stenosis = fish bowl decorations take up 1 side of the bowl. Not great, but fish can still swim. Either ventral or dorsal CSF is effaced, but the other side of the fish bowl is still empty 🔸Moderate = decorations take up both sides—swimming is very affected. Both ventral and dorsal CSF have been effaced. 🔸Severe = all out w/decorations & there’s no more room for the fish. No room for the cord & it is compressed. CORD FLATTENING It’s like a fight. Cord deformity w/o signal is like someone pushing you to start a fight---you can still walk away. Cord deformity w/signal is a punch to the face—it’s on! 🔸Grade 1: no flattening (just words exchanged, no punches) 🔸Grade 2: flattening but no cord signal (you have been pushed but not bruised, can walk away) 🔸Grade 3: flattening w/cord signal (you have been punched & have a bruise, so you must fight) In this month’s AJNR, Koo et al. found that using a deep learning algorithm produced images in half the time—and the images were non-inferior for evaluation of degenerative chages & canal stenosis Now you know the grading of canal stenosis & cord flattening, for both normal & fast AI imaging! This is for everyone who still thinks Gen3D is useless 🤣 I generated a koi fish with clean topology using Tripo but it was just a static mesh. No rig. No bones. Nothing. I wanted to animate it without touching Blender because I genuinely have no idea how to use Blender 😂 So I casually asked Claude if it could help me with it... And then Claude built THIS 🐟 A fish that swims, breathes, reacts to your cursor and even looks directly at you when you stop moving your cursor. It took a completely static 3D model and turned it into a fully animated fish with a swim cycle and subcarangiform kinematics. It even optimized the model and brought the file size down from 14.79MB to just 4.16MB. And also that water with ripple effects is built with TSL too. 60 FPS. WebGPU with WebGL2 fallback. All Three.js. This was inspired by Marina Budarina's website where I saw a fish swimming across the page. I immediately loved the idea and thought, "What if the fish actually felt alive, more immersive?" So I made it happen. And honestly, this is the kind of thing that makes me excited about what we can build with 3D on the web now. All thanks to AI! So for everyone who thinks you need to spend months learning Blender before you can build something like this, maybe it's time to rethink what Gen3D or AI is actually capable of :D Live: Code:
