I thought the whole point of Go was that you could just use the latest version and be fine?

This is a cool project! It reminded me a lot about 'ghcup', a Haskell toolchain installer TUI. It manages not only the compiler versions but also other dev tooling. Feel free to have a look for inspiration! TUI libraries in Haskell, however, are not so mature as in Go 😅

This is cool! Looks well-designed, and pretty Why though, I only ever use the latest for everything, and new go compilers auto-update if the go.mod references a newer go version than installed?

It can also install Go. I intentionally rolled back a version of Go once before. if its not useful im cool with that
