Announcing `npx create-instant-app --ai`! Got Claude Code? You can use it to one-shot a full-stack app in one command. You get a backend, auth, and realtime, and you don't even have to sign up. Watch these two seasoned actors explain (sound on!)

We hooked up Claude Code to Instant. Turns out this is an awesome way to start off your project. Here’s a demo of us one-shotting a real-time, alien-based chiptunes maker.

Why does this work so well? Instant comes with really tight abstractions. This lets LLMs go far without falling into trouble. This lets agents do more out of the box: by default your app works offline and supports multiplayer, auth, storage, cursors, the whole schebang :)

And the resulting code looks good too. Which means you can actually evolve your projects!

You may be wondering: how did we make it so you don't have to sign up to get a backend? Instant is built on multi-tenant infra. This means new apps are extremely efficient to set up. Your agents can go ham creating apps, and we'll never freeze them.

If you don't have Claude Code, you can still use create-instant-app to quickly scaffold Nextjs, Vite, and Expo starters. You'll get a full project and LLM rules you can use to get cracking.

Does this work for setting up simple multiplayer for games?

Hey @lishali88 ! Yes, it can work great for games. If the updates per sec start to hit very high, we may need to do something, but lots of folks have been building out fun games on top.

We should make an Instant template on Rosebud so anyone can use you for the backend! Maybe do a joint post on this for a step by step how to?
