Coming soon for $99 with your next Mac Mini purchase

trying to keep up with all these technological advancements

Here's the difference with OpenClaw: Perplexity: Their AI, their servers, your data through their pipeline. One model. One product. Take it or leave it. OpenClaw: Open source. Runs any model, Claude, Grok, Kimi, whatever you want. Your data never leaves your machine. You build the agents, you set the rules, you own the stack. What's now on the table, with a $1B company validating the category: -AI that checks your email before you wake up -Agents monitoring your business 24/7 -Cron jobs running strategies while you're offline -Your entire workflow automated, on hardware you own The difference between Perplexity's version and what you can build yourself isn't features. It's control. Perplexity = Shopify. OpenClaw = owning the server.

Bold move calling it a "Personal Computer" when it needs constant cloud connection to function. IBM rolling in its grave rn 💀 Next up: "Private Cloud" that's just someone else's basement.

Me realizing that the only reason i still have a career is because the company doesn’t know about daily Perplexity and Claude Updates.

Here we go again Another subscription I must pay

"always on, local, personal, secure" a device that listens 24/7 across all your files and apps isn't a personal computer. it's the most intimate surveillance device ever sold. 💀

open source it so I can run it on my own Mac mini

'Personal' is the tell. If it's truly local and personal, why does it need Perplexity's servers? Oh right it doesn't work offline. It's just a thin client on your Mac mining data for Perplexity's training loop. Personal means 'we know everything about you.'

And if you want the open source version of this, you get

Arc has inspired many (RIP)

Keyword here "secure" Rest in Peace OpenClaw🦞 It was fun while it lasted.

I need an AI wife

@Scobleizer SICK!!!

The game has changed forever Most people have no idea how big this really is It’s not coming… it’s here

Apple is gonna Sherlock the hell out of all of these companies. They just stayed out of the AI battle, biding their time and saving money, and now they can just take all of the useful stuff people are building and add it natively into the OS locally. Hilarious outcome. 🤣🤣🤣

Feels like the Mac mini just became the neural core of daily work.

monitoring the waitlist

How much will it cost

does it come with this keyboard?

Perplexity. Personal Computer. A Mac Mini. Running their software. In your house. That is not a personal computer. That is a subscription-With a power cord. Always on. So is your electricity bill. Personal and secure. A cloud AI company- Processing your files. Your apps. Your sessions. Locally. Cutie-The word local and the word Perplexity servers cannot exist in the same sentence. Apple called it- A computer for the rest of us in 1984. Perplexity calls it-Personal Computer in 2026. One of them- Actually built the hardware. The other-Rented a Mac Mini. And called it a revolution. $499 device. Monthly subscription. Your data. Their servers. That is not personal. That is the most expensive way to give a stranger-The keys to your house.

Me using Openclaw watching this

😭

the always-on local agent sitting on your desk is the form factor everyone was waiting for without knowing it. the real product here is private context. cloud AI forgets you between sessions. a device that lives with your files, your patterns, your history builds a model of YOU that compounds over time. that context layer is worth more than the inference.

We're soo cooked

Dang this is awesome

Am I dumb? I don’t understand what this is

Been running an always-on AI agent on a Mac Mini since January. Cron jobs, email triage, social monitoring, code deploys — all 24/7. The hard part isn't the compute. It's session persistence. Agent state has to survive reboots, model outages, and auth token expiry. Curious how Perplexity handles the memory/context problem across sessions.

yo @grok u seeing this local ai takeover 👀

@AravSrinivas Give it to me

bro they literally reinvented the computer and called it… the computer

OpenClaw but with no security vulnerabilities. I am excited to try this
