You may be thinking, why Windows? I get it, it's not exactly sexy. But I challenge you to name a platform with a greater role in global value creation than Windows and the legacy apps that run on it.

LLMs, even in their current state, have proven they can automate what was previously considered knowledge work. As more and more workflows get automated, the limiting factor then becomes the APIs available to build on. ... APIs which don't exist for many legacy Windows apps!

Pig is intended to bridge that gap, and allow these agent-building teams to access software that was previously untouchable. Pig will be the universal API between AI and the business world. Pig will be the computers for AI employees.

It's still the early days with Pig. The first line of code was written just a month ago. The team is just me. But from the moment this idea grabbed hold in my mind, I knew that it was the right idea, and that I was exactly the right founder to do it.

So, after teasing it for a few weeks now, I'm thrilled to finally announce @PigDev_ to the world. We're backed by @ycombinator (W25) and veterans across the AI and infra space. I hope you like it as much as I do, or share it with someone who will. 🐖, Erik
