Jensen Huang is on fire at CES 2026 Event 🎯 "How you run the software, how you develop the software fundamentally changed. The entire five-layer stack of the computer industry is being reinvented. You no longer program the software, you train the software. You don't run it on CPUs, you run it on GPUs. And whereas applications were pre-recorded, pre-compiled, and run on your device, now applications understand the context and generate every single pixel, every single token, completely from scratch every single time. Computing has been fundamentally reshaped as a result of accelerated computing, as a result of artificial intelligence. Every single layer of that five-layer cake is now being reinvented. Well, what that means is some ten trillion dollars or so of the last decade of computing is now being modernized to this new way of doing computing. What that means is hundreds of billions of dollars, a couple of hundred billion dollars in VC funding each year, is going into modernize and inventing this new world. And what it means is a hundred trillion dollars of industry, several percent of which is R&D budget, is shifting over to artificial intelligence. People ask where is the money coming from? That's where the money is coming from. The modernization to AI, the shifting of R&D budgets from classical methods to now artificial intelligence methods. Enormous amounts of investments coming into this industry, which explains why we're so busy. And this last year was no difference. This last year was incredible. If there were ever a stat to challenge the notion that you have to play on a super team or a team ranked high on My Hockey Rankings to make high level hockey, here it is. Unreal insight from USHL commissioner Glenn Hefferan: Even after taking out kids from Minnesota (which is 25% of the USHL) and players coming in from other junior leagues, players currently playing in the USHL have come from 54 different Tier 1 organizations. 54!!! We always preach that everyone has a different path. For all the parents out there… Calm down, take a breath, keep your kid in your house under your parenting for as long as you can, and surround your kid with good people. You DO NOT need to put your kid on a super team ranked high on MHR for them to “make it.” Here’s an incredible piece of data from top junior league USHL to back it up. I’m hearing horror stories about this stuff as early as 8u and 10u. This shows even at older ages the year before going to junior hockey that you can get there from multiple ways and places. Hockey directors - a great piece of information to send to your parents.

MIT engineers built an AI wristband that controls robots by reading your hand muscles. It works by using an ultrasound to capture images of the muscles and tendons in your wrist. An AI algorithm then translates those images into the exact position of all 5 fingers, tracking 22 different ways your hand can bend, twist, and extend. In demos, wearers directed a robotic hand to play piano just by moving their own fingers. To put the complexity in perspective, it takes: > 34 muscles > 27 joints > 100+ tendons ...Just to scroll your phone This device captures it all from a band the size of a smartwatch.
