The first year or so being awake is brutal. I felt like I was living in an alternate reality from my family and friends. I still do,but the kids and hubby are coming around. It hit me one evening that the sleepers may never know the full extent of our burden even with DCLAS and arrests. They may never know the full extent, or it will be watered down by the time they see some of it. I'm okay with this. I don't wish the depths of the depravity on my children's minds. We couldn't have done it without one another to lean on. At least we had each other. 💚

I was at the market earlier and I heard a family cursing at a young boy. He was 6 or 7. Old enough to bring his knees to his hands while he covered his face in embarrassment of his parents. He was sitting in the buggy. It broke my heart because I never heard the boy say a word.

Allmen! I will never give up, I'm not a quitter! Thank you, Jesus! 🙏🙏🙏
