x402 made payments native to HTTP. I made USDC payments native to sound waves ✨ Not as a gimmick. As a proof. 1/ The setup: Coinbase Developer Platform🛡️'s x402 protocol embeds payments into HTTP. It's brilliant. But I started wondering, if we can pay over HTTP, what else can we use to pay? Spoiler: anything that supports 138 bytes 2/ The realization: x402 is built on EIP-3009 - a 2020 standard that lets you sign payment authorizations offline. Someone else submits it on-chain. The signature just needs to get from A to B. HTTP is one way. Sound is another. 3/ What I built: x402hz: two devices negotiate a payment through 2400Hz audio tones. - Seller beeps "pay me $0.001 USDC" (30 bytes) - Buyer's device decodes, signs the EIP-712 for the transferWithAuthorization locally, beeps back (108 bytes) - Seller settles on-chain Total: 36 seconds of beautiful noise. 4/ The bigger point: If payments can travel over sound, they can travel over: - QR codes - NFC - Bluetooth - Light pulses - Anything that carries 138 bytes The payment primitive is transport-agnostic. x402 picked HTTP. The next protocol might pick something weirder. 5/ What this proves: EIP-3009 separates three things: - Authorization (offline, cryptographic) - Transport (literally anything) - Settlement (on-chain) x402 nailed #1 and #3. x402hz proves #2 is wide open. 6/ Credit: Huge thanks to the Coinbase Developer Platform🛡️ x402 team for building the protocol. I just... took it off-road. 7/ Next steps Code is open source. Go make payments, travel over something ridiculous (repo in the comments). 138bytes. That's all you need.

Is Linux a “Pedo Bar”? Put another way: Does the world of Linux and Open Source (including foundations, corporations, and projects) have a disproportionately high level of rapists, pedophiles, and general degenerates? Does Open Source protect such people? And is that by design? Many of the Extreme Leftist Activists within Open Source have regularly attacked anyone who objects to degeneracy — often banning them from organizations entirely, labeling those opposed to degeneracy as “Nazis”. These Leftist Activists say they are trying to stop Open Source from becoming a “Nazi Bar” (a place where Nazis feel safe to congregate) by banning “Nazis”. But, clearly, there are no actual Nazis there (at least not in any significant number). There is no “Nazi Bar” in Open Source. But there is another group that feels extremely safe within Open Source: Rapists, Pedophiles, and general Degenerates. A short anecdote: Many years back (a decade or more), while recording a Linux podcast, I mocked rapists. I made a quick, off-handed remark about how much I despise rapists. About how I felt that anyone who would rape another human being must be truly awful and insane. I did not consider this to be a controversial statement to make. Every good person is opposed to rapists, right? Well… The response, from the Extreme Leftist corners of Open Source, to me being *opposed* to rape, was truly bizarre. For *several* years, those groups regularly protested my involvement in conferences and organizations. Their repeatedly stated reason for protesting me, aggressively, for years? That my position on rapists made them “feel unsafe”. Think that through for a moment. I am opposed to rapists. This made them “feel unsafe”. Why would anyone feel “unsafe” because of someone being *against* rape? Insane, right? The true reason they proclaimed they felt “unsafe” is becoming quite clear. Over the last several years we’ve watched as projects, organizations, and companies have actively promoted sexual degeneracy. Often in criminal form. Microsoft advocating for their employees to give their children (as young as 3) sex changes. Linux Distros using Trans cartoons targeting children: Open Source projects banning anyone who objects to waving the Trans Flag. So many examples. We could list similar stories all day long. Promote degenerate activity, ban anyone who objects. That is the standard operating procedure of so many Open Source organizations. We’ve all been watching it for years. Then, this week we learned about a convicted rapist (who, according to court records, committed “thousands of [sexual] assaults” of little kids) working at Canonical (the parent company of Ubuntu Linux). And being actively involved in GNOME and Ubuntu development. These crimes, according to several sources, were well known. But kept hush-hush. This registered sex offender was not only welcome, but protected (and promoted) within Open Source. The picture is becoming clear. This is what we are seeing within Open Source organizations: - Promote degenerate (often criminal) activities. - Ban and attack any who oppose the degeneracy. - Protect and elevate the degenerates (including convicted rapists of small children). Now, let me ask the question again. Is Linux (and Open Source) a “Pedo Bar”?

Eben Etzebeth's post on Instagram: Hey Everyone I've been quiet, but now that my hearing is done I think I owe everyone an explanation First of all, this is not a post to show that I was not guilty, I accept guilt. I made a mistake and I'm willing to serve a suspension which I deserve. I don't want young kids who look up to the Springboks to think that it's OK to eye gouge someone, because it's not, but unfortunately mistakes happen and I made a big one for which I'm sorry. But I'd like to answer the question - why did you do such a thing? It was a mistake caused by my reaction and other factors that played a role. Slide 1: The scuffle was basically over when Wales #7 struck me with an open hand to my chin/neck area, you can see me looking at the Assistant Referee and waiting for a reaction from him (it happened fast and it's understandable that he didn't see it) without reacting yet, I got another pull on my jersey, before I go in with the similar type of action. Slide 2: You can clearly see my first point of contact is against his shoulder with an open hand, just like he did, except he got me on the chin. Another thing worth mentioning, when he struck me, I was standing still with not a lot of movement or players trying to get involved. When I went for the same open hand towards his shoulder, you'll see 2 Welsh players changing the dynamic of the entire picture as well as one of my teammates pulling Wales #7 around his neck away from my hand and where my force is going. Slide 3: Another Camera Angle So why did I post this? To try and show people how everything happened and that it was never intentional. I would never do something like this on purpose, I know what the consequences will be after playing rugby for a few years. Thanks to everyone that stood by me and thought the best of me. I'm sorry for letting you and the game down. That was my first red card since I started playing. I want it to be my last. To the people that were angry and upset with my actions, I understand - because it didn't look good on the slow motion replay and hopefully you've got a bit more context now.

For the second straight year, an album I heard in March blew me away, and ran away with this title. The Red Herring for 2024 ALBUM OF THE YEAR GOES TO… Boundaries’ “Death Is Little More” 💿Released: March 29 Top 3 tracks: 🎤Easily Erased 🎤Turning Hate Into Rage 🎤Darkness Shared I loved a LOT of records this year. I really did. But this record has finished as my album of the year by a wide margin. Boundaries is yet another band that I’ve seen grow over the years from a little Connecticut band, to now being on some MASSIVE tours. They are a band essentially built for me. Their breakthrough to me, was 2022’s “Burying Brightness.” That was their spring board that really helped them find their sound. And after they learned to walk, THIS album has them SPRINTING. This is one of the most aggressive records of the year, and it’s admirable but what I love most is the touches of melody they have now spread throughout the record. Songs like Easily Erased and Scars on a Soul are two that feel like they could have been standard boundaries song, but those small touches thrown in have made them into masterpieces. Blames Burden featuring Markus Vik from Invent Animate sees the band taking a somewhat new direction too, and really comes with a surprise left hook towards the end of this album, just when you thought you had it figured out. The classic Boundaries sound, combined with these new touches have made for an outstanding album worthy of being worn like a badge of honor by the members of this band.

HoYoverse (the devs behind Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero) are working on several very large Gacha games. Some open-world, some action combat, some turn-based, some aren't even confirmed to have Gacha in them. Let's break it down: ⚠️1. Petit Planet (Cozy Life Sim)⚠️ Relaxed, cozy cosmic life sim - honestly, pretty much a spin on Animal Crossing. ⚠️2. Varsapura (Open-World Action)⚠️ Open-world action RPG set in a supernatural, modern-ish metropolis infused with strange/paranormal elements. It has a darker, more grounded and stylish atmosphere compared to Genshin or Star Rail. ⚠️3. Honkai: Nexus Anima (Creature Collection Strategy)⚠️ Creature-collecting adventure strategy game (heavily compared to Pokémon-style mechanics) with auto-chess elements. ⚠️4. Photorealistic Fantasy Research Project (UE5)⚠️ Epic high-fantasy open-world game with realistic visuals (darker, more grounded tone than Genshin). Key features from job posts: massive boss battles, dynamic open world, co-op multiplayer, PvP, intelligent NPCs, ecological AI simulation, full-terrain combat. ⚠️5. Ghibli-style Sandbox Game (UE5)⚠️ Sandbox game heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli’s art style. Recruitment opened around October 2025. They’re specifically looking for people with dress-up game experience. Very early stage. ⚠️6. Western Cartoon-style Hero Shooter (Unity)⚠️ Multiplayer hero shooter in western cartoon/near-future fantasy style. PVE + PVP. Some people compare it to Splatoon vibes (unconfirmed). Early job-posting stage. ⚠️7. Social Sim (Unity)⚠️ City life / making friends / multiculturalism focused. Early stage. ⚠️8. Realistic Shooter (UE5)⚠️ Modern or near-modern city setting with PVP elements. Another recent job posting (December 2025). What are YOU most excited for?!
