I didn't want to be 40 years old and call another man my "boss" I didn't want to miss another milestone with my kids because I had to work late I didn't want to write another single email starting with the words "I hope this email finds you well" Whatever your reason why, use it. Make one up if you have to. If you want to build something that's yours, the only thing stopping you is you PS: I made a free 30 minute training explaining how I left my job to work for myself on line.
