Not even slightly, you obviously have not seen Visions, the first season of which mogs this on multiple levels. I mean this is not bad, but the Visions stuff has way more story and richer visuals and music generally.

Andor's a tedious slog &not without considerable criticism. That's not the spirit of what Lucas created. This AI short was made with no budget &just the creative talent of the writer/editor &delivers an engaging story in under 3mins unlike the hundreds of millions spent by Disney

It is great except for one missed opportunity. Lightening turns sand into glass. The antagonist sends force lighting, unknowingly turning the blowing sands to glass shards. The kid sends shredding shards back.

People sure get hard-ons for meaningless light saber duels. It’s rare any fans tell an actual story.

Why limit yourself to under 3 minutes? Is your attention span that short? There are many Pixar short films that tell stories with an actual point & have zero dialogue. Action without context is meaningless.

It still has so far to go, but honestly I think within 10 years AI will be able to make full length movies. But we need better writers anyways.
