Another black teen beating the shit out of a 9 year old white girl on a school bus. They gave him a slap on the wrist at first until the state stepped in. This is what happens when you keep making excuses for this kind of violence. These beasts are getting bolder by the day.

The frequency of 108 is the hidden pulse, or rhythm that is the essence of the living mathematics of Nature, it is the reason why the Vedas worshipped this number by incorporating it into their 108 rosary beads (mala) when they chant their mantras. The most revered of all mantras is the Gayatri Mantra, the most famous Eastern song or Prayer of Enlightenment which is always chanted 108 times, also has a rhythm of 24 syllables! What else embodies mathematically these two numbers 24 and 108. It can only be the Reduced Fibonacci Sequence. Thus in a sense, the Brahmins sonically encrypted or hid this rare sacred knowledge of the Universe’s underlying Patterns of Sri 108 in a song or prayer about the Triple Worlds and an Inner Sun (Savitri). The Vedas teach that this knowledge was written on the Rays of the Sun.

Watching living creatures get unloaded like bags of fertilizer on a rainy tarmac will turn your stomach every single time. These cats are packed into identical plastic carriers, riding down a metal belt loader straight out of an aircraft belly hold, and getting tossed onto an open baggage trailer like Amazon returns. Bulk animal shipments move across airports every day with rescues getting relocated, breeders shipping inventory, lives treated strictly as freight on a manifest. The worker on the ramp is just trying to clear the cart and clock out, but when you look closely at those carrier doors, there's a terrified pair of eyes staring right back. A job’s a job, but when the cargo has a heartbeat, you handle it with some damn care.

❤️ "The purpose of a woman is procreation. This is absolutely unique natural gift, and we all treat it with great respect. We all, by 'we all' I mean the male part of the population, expect a woman to remain attractive, charming, and gentle. But how can a woman combine all these things—career, attractiveness, and gentleness? I do not know; this is a woman’s secret, into which I do not even try to delve." - President Putin. Happy women’s day🌹

Heavily inspired by an ancient Roblox game, I decided to make a fully working Portal Gun in Roblox! Unlike traditional Portal Guns that utilize ViewportFrames and lose resolution when getting close to a portal, and lacks any and all lighting data, this one cuts real holes into world geometry and stitches copies of the world into workspace, relative to the portals. EditableMesh helps a lot with making the "cut a infinitely thin hole into a wall" effect that the original Portal game does. Using some clever math, I can hide "Portal Worlds" when not viewing them directly through the portal, saving on performance and preventing clipping. It's sort of like StencilBuffers, except everything is rendered in real space instead of a separate camera. It's VERY VERY early, and very buggy, but I'm quite happy with the progress I've made on this so far, and will probably be the last thing I post before leaving tomorrow to go to California. The game that inspired me when I was a kid was "Real Portals" by ZeOBot. #Roblox #RobloxDev

Without fail, the city of Lviv falls silent and drops to one knee. Every day the streets fill with the slow, heavy rhythm of another funeral procession. Black cars. Flags draped over a coffin. A family mourning, faces hollowed by grief that will never fully leave them. And as the cortege passes, the entire city, shopkeepers, students, babusias with their bags, men repairing the roads, stops. They kneel. Not for a moment of polite respect, but in a deep, unbroken silence that feels older than the war itself. For Ukrainians, every single life given defending this land is sacred. There is no greater sacrifice. No higher price. Each fallen warrior is not a number, not a statistic, but a son, a husband, a brother, a friend whose absence carves a permanent wound into the heart of the nation. They will be heroes forever, not in marble alone, but in the quiet, stubborn kneeling of a city that will never forget.

Jan Valta and Adam Sporka created incredible music for KCD2 video game, and there's one detail in particular I've been wanting to share for a year now, given how amazing the music is in narrative sound design. I recognized the Hussite song in certain locations, specifically those resisting Sigismund's rule: Semine, Suchdol, and Raborsch, each with a different instrument but the same theme. When I first played KCD2 and heard this music in Semine, I immediately recognized it, being a fan of Czech history. I already suspected that the lord of Semine was plotting against Lord Otto von Bergow. This theme behind the music, the Hussite song, echoes the events 20 years later with the Hussite Wars, a religious war and crusade waged in Bohemia by King Sigismund of Luxembourg. My opinion is that the difference in instruments in these pieces of music with the same theme is to distinguish the settings. Semine is in the Bohemian paradise with more choral music, Raborsch is an isolated estate with agriculture with solo guitar music, and finally Suchdol is an impressive fortress with a military aspect to the music. I just did the montage with the musics of these locations :

A special Hangul Day edition of KBS 1 Radio’s introducing songs written entirely in Korean Music critic Joy Park mentioned Doyoung’s ‘Little Light’ and ‘Luminous’ 👤 Then, what K-pop song with lyrics written entirely in Korean have you prepared for us? 👩🏻 I’ve prepared Doyoung’s Little Light. There are these lyrics: When the light in your soul turns on May every day seem like that day Even your breath, every sound glows Illuminating a path in the dark I really love these lyrics, so that’s why I chose this song. 👤 I see. Let’s listen to Doyoung’s Little Light, a song with lyrics entirely in Korean. 🎵 Little Light 🎶 👤 To find it at long last, like a firefly shining on its own 👩🏻 The lyrics are really beautiful, aren’t they? This song tells the story of a young person setting out in pursuit of their dreams. And Doyoung is actually a singer who has always talked about wanting to support his fans in pursuing their dreams. Because of that, I feel an even greater sense of sincerity in this song, which is why I wanted to introduce it. 👤 I see. Was Doyoung originally an idol? 👩🏻 Yes, he was an idol, and he still is. He’s a member of a group called NCT 127. Doyoung has also released songs like this through his solo albums. Personally, there’s another song of his that I really like, called Luminous, which was written and composed by Kim Yoonah of Jaurim. What’s interesting about Luminous is that its lyrics explore a theme that idols don’t typically sing about. They deal with some really profound reflections on life. 👤 Oh, really? 👩🏻 Yes. Usually, in K-pop, themes like these tend to be expressed in English. But here, the lyrics are written entirely in Korean. In fact, Doyoung’s albums contain a great many songs with Korean lyrics, and because of that, they come across as especially heartfelt and sincere. So I think there’s a connection between those things.

When several metronomes are placed on a common movable surface, each begins with its own rhythm. There is no coordinating signal, no external clock, and no instruction for order. Yet their motion converges. The oscillators settle into a shared rhythm that none of them possessed individually. This behavior is not an anomaly but an expression of a general principle: weakly coupled oscillatory systems tend toward phase organization. The phenomenon is known as phase locking, and it appears wherever interacting cyclic processes are allowed to exchange even minimal influence. Its mathematical description was formalized by Kuramoto in the context of chemical oscillations, but the underlying idea is far older: collective order can arise without centralized control. What matters in such systems is not perfect synchrony. More commonly, the system settles into a state of partial synchronization, in which the components maintain a stable phase offset rather than coinciding exactly. The oscillators are neither independent nor identical. They are locked, but imperfectly so. Crucially, such phase-locked states are often metastable. They represent preferred configurations of the system, yet they are separated from large excursions by a finite stability barrier. As long as fluctuations remain small, the system remains confined near its equilibrium phase. But random perturbations, accumulating over time, may eventually push it beyond that barrier. When this occurs, the loss of phase stability is abrupt. The system does not drift gradually into failure; it escapes. This mode of failure is probabilistic rather than deterministic. It is governed by the statistics of noise rather than by intrinsic periodicity. In physical terms, it corresponds to Kramers escape: the thermally or stochastically activated crossing of a potential barrier. Waiting times are irregular, clustering is common, and long intervals of apparent calm coexist with sudden bursts of activity. The relevance of this framework becomes apparent when one turns to the geomagnetic field. [1/3]

The Irrevocable Bladesman 无归客 [2025] Directed By: Huang Hao Zhong 黄浩忠 Another Chinese DTV for the year with a new director, which is pretty common over the past few years when a new action or fantasy film drops on these services. This film had a lot of potential with the outfit designs and how the film starts, but after that it turns into an exposition dump on the lead recovering and talking about the good times. It isn't until the one-hour mark, we get a grand fight but is not in the caliber of this scene in terms of editing but is okay with an old school vibe to it due to the forearm weapons the villain is wearing. Currently streaming on iQIYI.

It's another "Sit on I-395N Day". Of course, that can be any day. But it's particularly bad on weekend days when the cherry blossoms are at peak. It's a joyous time when we honor this gift from the mayor of Tokyo more than a century ago by sitting in our automobiles for three hours to go three miles only to realize there are no parking spaces when we finally get into DC. So far, no one has abandoned their cars on the outbound 14th Street Bridge (as in previous years). And it's like this at all of the close-in Potomac River crossings and in Downtown DC. But there are fireworks at the Wharf tonight and at the Kennedy Center. So enjoy!

This woman turns an ordinary sidewalk into a moment of pure joy. Using chalk, she draws a simple hopscotch-style game on the pavement, numbering the squares from 1 to 9. At the very end, instead of a normal finish, she writes one playful instruction: “Dance.” As people walk by, curiosity takes over. One by one, strangers decide to join in, hopping through the numbers on one foot like kids again. And when they reach the final square, they happily follow the last rule and break into a little dance. What started as a simple drawing on the ground becomes a spontaneous moment of laughter, movement, and connection, reminding everyone how small, playful ideas can brighten an ordinary day. 💃✨
