Speculation that the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Rhoose will be used to house Afghans is deeply concerning. I've been contacted by several constituents about this, who are understandably and legitimately concerned. There have also been several reports on social media. As an elected member representing the area, authorities have told me nothing about this. To the best of my knowledge, there has been no public statement issued by the Ministry of Defence. This is unacceptable. Speculation has been ongoing for several days, and an information vacuum has inevitably developed. I therefore wanted to take the opportunity to explain the actions I have undertaken to address this. I have written to the MOD asking them to clarify the situation urgently. To clarify my position, if speculation is correct, I would strongly and categorically oppose the hotel being used for suggested purpose. It is not suitable to provide accomodation of this nature. The hotel was built to provide accomodation for airport passengers. As a result, the vast majority of guests would, in practice, stay at the hotel for a maximum of one night, either before or after their flight. As such, they would not access local NHS services, schools or other public services. This would not be the case if the hotel is used in the manner suggested. By contrast, it would put huge pressure on local amenities and other public services. It is also situated close to a new college that is set to open. If the reports are true, then the plans would have been developed without any consultation with residents. This too would be unacceptable. They should be afforded the opportunity to provide feedback, have their say and raise any concerns they may have. When I receive further updates, I will update residents accordingly. Be assured I will always put the local community first.

No person forfeits their right to life, dignity or their status as a human being because they are alleged to have violated a law. This is a defining feature of our Constitution that sets us apart as a nation of due process and the rule of law. We will not tolerate anyone using allegations related to any person’s nationality or immigration status to violate their inherent human dignity and our Constitution, or to inflict damage on our society. It simply cannot and will not stand.

What did Q mean, “the end will not be for everyone?” How can it be? Is this fair? How could it be that the Great Awakening is not for everyone? I have been trying to understand this question for years. I have a possible answer. Q also writes: “Focus, Focus, Ascension.” In order to ascend, one must forget who he is, or who he and others around him consider him to be. This is called ego-death. As a collective, we will reinvent ourselves based on new information. This is not for everyone, and not everyone will be able to achieve this. To accept everything taught about history, healing, law, and life in general is a lie, requires great strength. To have to walk away from your religion is epic. The end will not be for everyone. We have to leave the matrix(all based on lies), and return to the promised land, where we have direct contact with creation itself, 24/7.

This UK man is an absolute legend “I don't think in my country, believe me, every inch of this land is mine. My ancestors have lived here for over a thousand years. I don't believe in bending anything to newcomers. You've chosen to live in my country, you live by our ways. We have the right to intellectually criticize one another's faiths. As a Christian, I'm not intimidated by that. We've already gone through hundreds of years of doing this to ourselves. Christianity can stand up to it. Islam, by contrast, is pretty new to the world of getting criticized intellectually. It is absolutely right to criticize Muhammad, his conduct, his words, his right to criticize the Quran. And if you don't like that, go and live somewhere else. We will be better off without you in this country. I want a country that will destroy anyone who does not accept the terms that I offered. Any Islamist who tries to impose Sharia law, any Islamist who thinks that we're going to use violence because you criticized our Prophet or you criticized our book. I want a country that will destroy their lives. Take away their kids, chuck them in prison, stop them having jobs, move them out of the country. Is the goal here to open back up the strait of hormuz, or is it where Israel's position would be? Or is it to do away with their desire to bomb people?…We should have a better understanding about what is left in an arsenal against not only the United States and our assets there, but also Israel and other friends that we have in the gulf. So this is an equation that they are going to have to put their heads together and make that determination.”

Deputy Prime Minister of Canada Chrystia Freeland today commenting about the documentary. “There is a film that is due to be screened at Tiff today in Toronto about Russian soldiers at War. Ukrainian diplomats and the Ukrainian Canadian Community have expressed really grave concerns about that film and I do want to say I share those concerns. We have to be really clear that this is a war where there is no moral equivalency this is a war of Russian aggression this is a war where Russia is breaking international law and committing war crimes. There is very clearly good and evil in this war. Ukrainians are fighting for their sovereignty and for democracy around the world and we as a country have to be very, very clear that there can be no moral equivalency in our understanding of this conflict. It's not right for Canadian public money to be supporting the screening and production of a film like this.”

PLEASE SHARE THIS The people of Alma are being abandoned by the ruling authority in Lebanon. They are defenseless and under constant pressure to leave their homes. The people of Alma are peaceful Christians who have nothing to do with this war. Last night we heard through an intermediary between us and the IDF that their voice has been heard. However, we still cannot feel reassured until we hear something official from the IDF. The message from Alma is clear. The town will not evacuate under any circumstances. The only message the people want to hear is that their voice has been acknowledged. Leaving this matter to the authorities in Lebanon will lead nowhere. The crippled authorities lack the courage to raise their voice and ask Israel directly to spare this peaceful Christian town. Israel’s war is with Hezbollah, a terrorist organization. It was Hezbollah that last summer managed to turn Alma into a launch point for rockets against northern Israel, which is why the village is now seen as a threat. But this is not the truth. If the people had not been forced to leave last time, Hezbollah would never have been able to use the town as a missile platform. This is Hezbollah’s plan again. If the people leave now, Hezbollah will make sure to use the town, forcing Israel to destroy it and turning Christians against Israel. We have worked hard to build a peaceful Christian relationship with Israel. We will continue to protect and strengthen that path. But if Alma is attacked, it will set this effort back.
