Police arrested over 70 people, including several Muslims, outside Westminster Magistrates Court today for expressing their support for the banned group Palestine Action. Over 3,000 people, many of them elderly, have been arrested since the group was banned in July 2025. The government says Palestine Action is a terrorist organisation because of its repeated involvement in criminal damage and its threat to national security. But supporters say it is simply focused on disrupting the Israeli war machine which is committing genocide, and the government has abused anti terror laws.
