One of the many things that make the Princess of Wales dufferent from Madame Moonbump is her awareness of and concern for others. In the video clip we see Catherine suggesting to the group that they all go inside to get out of the rain, and she starts to lead them in. But she stops and looks over her right shoulder and sees another group of kids with no umbrellas! At the end of the clip she heads over to them to help other adults shelter the children, resulting in such lovely photos such as the one below. 🥰

Angie….Wow. This has taken me a couple of days to digest. I had the pleasure of knowing this queen since the very beginning of my true musical journey. I was looking for a background singer and sax player for my first club tour and she walked into my life at an audition. I instantly knew that I was in the presence of greatness. We did a tour together and became family. Being from down south (as we called it) she reminded me of my grandmother and her people who were from a small town in Georgia. We bonded over music, humour, and southern cuisine which she cooked with great joy. She knew her food tasted better than everyone else’s and it did. She had a phrase that I loved, "Lenny, I am overly confident". She believed it and so did I. She went on to become Angie Stone and changed the face of music as a solo artist, becoming known as the queen of neo soul. She already had an illustrious past but this was now HER time. As a black woman who was told she was not the right age, not the right look, etc she busted through and never looked back. The rest is history. Writer, producer, arranger, musician and master vocalist. The best of the best. I got to play on some of those great recordings and they are treasures in my mind and spirit. My deepest condolences to Diamond, Michael Jr and the entire family. LK

People are trying to make sense of why Reform have put forward Laila Cunningham as their candidate for Mayor of London. Is she a real Muslim? Is Reform containment? The simplest answer is that Cunningham is only interested in politics as a path for self-promotion. She's a grifter. She saw Reform are likely to form the next government, rote-learned the slick "British values" talking points to get ahead in a party desperate to not be called racist, and was pushed as the progressive-proof face of the party. Everything she does is to increase her personal advantage. She made headlines with her "supermum" citizens arrest stunt. She was in favour of hate crime legislation when it benefitted her. She wrote Woke poetry about how London's diversity was its strength — words which could have come straight from the mouth of Sadiq Khan. Then she jumped aboard the Conservatives when they were in power. She took selfies with everyone she could, because it was more important to be seen at functions than to be actually doing anything. She went to Pride and hosted the first Iftar event as a Councillor for Westminster North. The contradictions don't matter. She doesn't believe anything consistent. These are just the rituals of being a part of liberal political circles. The passwords you have to speak to be part of the club. It gatekeeps in favour of shameless grifters. She only pulled out of being the Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Rotherham right before the 2024 election. What connection does she have to Rotherham? None, since she loves London so much that she's always lived there and wants to be Mayor. She just took the seat as a nonwhite Muslim woman, until she realised she couldn't win and it would damage her future prospects. We shouldn’t trust Cunningham. Not just because she's a Muslim, and both the British right and public at large don't like Islam. We shouldn’t trust her because her entire political career appears to be about making her famous. She wants to be in power and on camera for the sake of it. She isn't really all that interested in philosophy or policy. Otherwise, she wouldn't be reciting insults like "far right" or pushing the incoherent platitudes of "British values", because neither stand up to scrutiny. It's a grift. Yeah, this just happened. Louise leaves the little nest where she is laying. I go to look for an egg there's nothing there. That's okay stage fright it happens. Went to the basement to grab some bedding so I could make it comfortable in that little spot that they like and I hear something in the house. Yeah it was Louise. Came in and shat right there in the freaking bathroom. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I did finally get a hold of her and carried her out to the little tiny coop where all the birds like to lay their eggs. She's in there now.

This woman is a single mother who has a job as a delivery driver for a company that has a Fed Ex route contract. She relies on this job to support her and her kids. She just found out that the company she works for lost the contract and they will all be out of a job in about a month. She found out from someone else, not the company that she works for. 🤯 She is considering just taking her load back and walking out. This happens quite often in the delivery service field. Companies like Amazon and Fed Ex deliveries are contracted out and if those contractors don’t meet certain standards they can lose the contract. 💯 It’s possible the new contractor will hire her but nothing is guaranteed. My son just went through this a couple of years ago and they did not hire most of the drivers over to the new company. Many people told her not to quit, to stick it out and to go apply with the new company asap. She said if they don’t hire her it is just wasted time in getting a new job. She’s upset because she feels it is disrespectful of her company not to let them know personally and give them time to find a new job. I wouldn’t make matters worse. She needs the money.
