Another excerpt from the Scavengers short that inspired #scavengersreign

"Scavengers Reign" is creative, deep and wonderful all around. But I am seeing a more profound layer of meaning and would appreciate to hear your thoughts. Character archs revolve around central specific themes. Sam and Ursula's journey is connected with addiction and dependency (Sam's troubles are all motifs of addiction and Ursula is the caregiver who tries to save him from dependency). Kamen is guilt and shame (which is obvious). Azi and Levi is Personal growth, maturity and respect. Kris and Barry is of spirituality (Kris refuses the call to save innocent lives and Barry takes it, in the end she is thirsty of water which is a simbolism of religion). Am I off?

I watched this short several times. I had no idea a show based on it would be as good as it turned out to be. Best of 2023 easily.
