This man claims he got this took as a gift for starting a business. He claims it never worked right and he wants to exchange it for a new one. This store recently changed its return policy and has it posted. No exchanges and returns without a receipt for anything over $50 due to rampant fraud and theft. He acknowledges he doesn’t have a receipt and he acknowledges that they can’t exchange it and he says that’s fine I just want to swap it out. It’s literally the same thing. It only takes one person to ruin it for everyone. People are stealing items and trying to return them with an ID, they are buying a new one but using that receipt and box to return the old item, it’s no wonder why there is a policy change. Do you feel he should have gotten an exchange as a courtesy?

Today has been another superb day. A few people have generously donated some money for Ian. We have just been to tescos in Gorton and he has done his first food shop in OVER SIX YEARS. This man noticed cans of the same brand piling up in his yard so he set up a ring camera and noticed the same vehicle passing by and throwing these cans over and over again but he needed a closer angle so he could get an accurate description of the vehicle so he set up a GoPro, when he finally got the information he needed he tracked the guy down and had an honest conversation with the man and found out he was doing it because of his Trump flag, he went on to explain to the gentleman the ways in which they were more alike than different and gave him an out, if he apologized to him and his family and promised not to do it again to which the man obliged. Too many times we see these situations culminate in violence and that’s exactly what those that propagate this hatred want, it is refreshing to see someone flip the script and handle it like a MAN. Hopefully these gentlemen have a newfound respect for each other and we’ll find a way to be neighborly to one another.
