Because her son has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), she objects to him being allowed to leave campus without supervision or parental consent. “It’s not right. My kid is supposed to be safe at school. If they can’t keep him safe, they need to take accountability,” she said. Now, her son doesn’t want to return to school.
