I assume this was during the Covid hoax? It was truly sickening what they wanted to do back then. I am glad I live in the Netherlands in that regard, where I could walk around & travel freely without a face mask. I didn't get vaccinated. I never been vaccinated against anything.

@highlander1568 The smug jabbed have no idea how close to Nazi enforcers they came. I watched an old programme about the Nazi nurses that all too easily put aside their squeamishness about torturing and experimenting on babies and children. Absolutely appalling to watch it in real time.

Out of context though. We were fed daily with mounting death figures akin to the plague or the Spanish flu. Every news channel told us we would die if we caught it. That was powerful rhetoric and only in hindsight can we see the truth.

Not out of context whatsoever. Powerful rhetoric or not, she was authoritative and wrong. That kind of thinking would have had people put in camps just for making their own medical choices. Some of us recognised the truth at the time, no hindsight required.

Neither did I. I'm on your side really, but it's harsh to blame someone of the time believing what we were constantly indoctrinated with. As an aside, my 90 year old auntie died when her pacemaker failed. It said 'cause of death COVID

I don’t blame her for believing it, I blame her for thinking it was ok to vilify and ostracise anybody for declining an injection. Even if there had been a pandemic and even if the injections had been safe and effective it was morally abhorrent, that’s my point.
