The Fiqishini tribe, which inhabits a single village in Sool region shared with another Dhulbahante clan, is still dissatisfied despite being granted 19 representatives. They now have more representation than the Naaleye Ahmed sub-clan of the Dhulbahante, which resides in Sanaag region. Their overrepresentation in the SSC state building process is largely due to their clan ties with Somalia’s president and foreign minister.
