$NODE is now officially deflationary ✅ The first fee module implementation is live and fully visible on the new $NODE burn and mint dashboard. Check it out here: Here are the latest $NODE economic metrics: → Revenue 7d: $2.03K → Mint 7d: 20.26K $NODE → Burn 7d: 101.43K $NODE → Net supply change: -81.17K $NODE → Mint ratio (r): 0.2 All burns are sent to the existing public burn address on Ethereum: eth:0x2080FeE444118AFCe30fCb749802C18c0a980dB7 The fee module introduces a predictable economic engine for $NODE: • 50% of the protocol fees collected in $NODE is burnt • 50% of protocol revenue determines weekly governance-approved minting The result is simple: protocol usage now directly increases $NODE scarcity. The new phase of the $NODE economy starts today.

In early 1973 the Air Force selected the Fairchild YA-10 after it beat the Northrop YA-9 in the A-X competition for a dedicated close air support jet. However, Texas lawmakers backing the A-7 pushed hard for a second flyoff, citing cost, limited versatility, and doubts about the new jet’s survivability in a European fight. Congress then ordered a second evaluation against the combat-proven A-7D Corsair II to confirm the new design justified its cost. The Air Force and Pentagon opposed the comparison as a waste of time but had to go along under Congressional pressure. That flyoff ran under simulated combat conditions at Fort Riley, Kansas in April and May 1974. The A-7D brought higher speed and more mature avionics while the A-10 prototype still used a 20 mm gun, yet the Warthog’s slower speed and high-g turning at low altitude proved more effective for the mission. Only after those results confirmed the A-10’s edge did Deputy Secretary of Defense William Clements authorize $39 million in long-lead funding for the first 52 aircraft on July 31, 1974. Full-rate production approval came later, in 1976. The flyoff was a political checkpoint the program had to clear. If you made it this far, Fun Fact: A separate push for the Piper Enforcer, a modified P-51, added more political friction later in 1974.👀

A woman won a $127,000 casino jackpot. The dealer celebrated her win. Then security walked over and told her she wasn't getting a penny. – In October 2023, Denise Ezell visited MGM Grand Detroit with a friend for a night of gambling. – After hours of playing, she sat down at a progressive blackjack table and placed one final side bet. – Moments later, the dealer revealed the cards. – Ezell had hit the $127,000 progressive jackpot. – The table erupted in cheers as the dealer congratulated her on the life-changing win. – Ezell says she immediately started thinking about paying off debt and helping her daughter through medical school. – Then security approached the table and asked for her ID. – After checking her information, casino staff returned with unexpected news. – They told Ezell she wouldn't receive a single dollar because she had allegedly been banned from the casino following a 2015 incident. – Ezell says she had no idea she was supposedly banned and had continued gambling at MGM for years without anyone stopping her. – According to her lawsuit, the casino accepted her money every time she lost, but only enforced the alleged ban after she hit a six-figure jackpot. – In 2024, Ezell sued MGM Resorts, arguing the casino had no right to deny her winnings after allowing her to gamble for years. A woman won a $127,000 casino jackpot. Minutes later, security told her she wasn't getting paid. Now she's taking MGM to court.
