Another little trick for pulling trains with string. I struggled with pulling one fast and one slow at a constant rate, so tried using a Brio battery-powered train. They may be slow, but sometimes that makes them perfect!

Sometimes I give up on videos because I don't like them one sided but I stuck around this one and found some nice pulling at the end

I may be the only one here, but I’ve never understood Donald and Douglas’ solution in ‘The Twins’ Passing Problem’, so I made this little demonstration to help visualise it and it’s actually a lot simpler than I thought!

I really love this scene cause it shows so clearly how Standish is the heart of the team. She's gathering them, one by one, with a little smile on her face. Mom of the slow horses indeed. And Saskia is phenomenal, her little expressions are just perfect.

Lately, a couple of posts have been pointing out that there seems to be a Seventeen content for any situation. I realize that is only possible because they are all truly close with one another. Dynamics may be different for each pairing/combo but no one is awkward with anyone.

🇺🇸 CHEF ANDREW GRUEL: KIRK TALKED ABOUT OUR FREEDOMS BEING SEIZED, ONE AT A TIME "He used to talk about incrementalism a lot, and the way in which they’re pulling away one string at a time, breaking down the fabric of our society. And so many people, too often, and I don’t hold this against them, will say: 'Well, it’s just this one thing. It’s just that one word. I don’t want to respond to that person because I don’t feel like dealing with it.' And we all have lives, right? That’s how they win, little by little, and before you know it, we’re being taken over by the Bolsheviks. Modern-day Bolsheviks." Source: Chef Andrew Gruel

In the bitter cold of Jilin, NE China, a green train waits patiently—for just three passengers 🚞 From world-class high-speed rail to slow trains with heart, China’s railways carry more than speed—they carry care, patience, and a promise to leave no one behind.

Another angle from yesterday’s clash with the military and mourners at Nyinahin that lead to the loss of one life. From this angle you could tell the soldier were retrieving for safety reasons until the civilians started pelting them with stones and taunting them. Not justifying the life lost but for goodness sake you don’t taunt anyone with a weapon! We live in a country where majority are slow and this is what is likely to be seen. So sad 😭

What is one guy with a little dog supposed to do when a hair pulling girl fight breaks out? I think the girls were ok. One just slightly embarrassed

Climbing a dustpan stick takes more than just muscle. It’s a reminder that progress isn’t always about perfect conditions. Sometimes it’s about holding on, digging deep, and pulling yourself up one small movement at a time. #FuelTheCulture⛽️
