Another look at this.. Kenny Dalglish with an absolute belter vs Everton at Goodison Park in 1985. Love this celebration from Kenny too, a massive following of Reds in the Gwladys St End that day 😅 was in there..great days!

I was in the Paddock. Been bouncing up & down with the crowd for 10 minutes before kick off. Was knackered & needed a breather, then Kenny kicked us off again.

Gerrard, Suarez, Salah, Kane, Ronaldo, Messi even do that, media blows up. Our days, we saw things they never see. Not King Kenny for the sake of it. A thing of beauty. A footballer supreme. And then bigger than that. Our pleasure..

Love it. I was in the Lower Bullens with the cliched perfect angle.

Great game. When he missed those two sitters near the end that would have made it 4-2!!!!

I was 12 and got a punch in the back of the head for celebrating, was in the Paddock and didn't care.

Kenny scores one of his greatest goals here, then misses two sitters late on...when the media ask him about the sitters later, he says "the manager's not too happy about it!" :-)

Was in the away enclosure for this game, magnificent memories of a beautiful time…

Was listening to the BBC for this goal.....pre internet days and what a time it was to be a Liverpool fan.

The "fuck off McMahon" shouts from the Blues is still one of the funniest things I can remember just when he then lashed in his effort..🤣

The greatest 👌🏻

What I have always loved about Kenny Dalglish, was how happy he looked when he scored! These days, most players look angry and aggressive, like they have something to get off their chests. Not true of all of course, Mo usually looks happy...but I think you get my point

Loved the way we could go into their end back in the day, n plenty of blues on the Kop fir the derby at ours. Too much bad feeling now

Crazy season 85-86 Everton were coasting to the title but April brought a 2~1 defeat on Lutons plastic pitch and a 1 nil defeat at Oxford who were fighting to stay up. Liverpool put an unbelievable run of 11 wins and 1 draw I think in the last 12 games!

I was in the Lower Bullens. Lots of reds mixed in with the Evertonians. Ooh they did laugh! 😂😂😂

The 2 best teams in the country at that was some game and could of gone either way. Liverpool won the league by 2 points that season, and that game turned out decisive at the end of the season.

8 year old in the park end. Some first half that, got very twitchy in the 2nd😂

Got absolutely drenched in the Park End that day.

Kenny always had a big smile when he scored. Better than the snarling aggression you get today. Not a Liverpool fan but he was one of my favourites

I was there in the Park End.

Me too!

Was on the ledge at the back of the park end, thought we where going to put about 8 past them

A game of 2 halves Liverpool dominated 1st half and blitzed a shell shocked, half asleep everton. 2nd half everton finally woke up and threw the kitchen sink at Liverpool and should of and could of easily got a draw.

Street end bouncing

Just like kenny

Watched this in a beach bar in Alvor Portugal (no footy on TV in the UK)

He’ll always be our king 👑🔴

My first derby win- in the Gwladys upper that day. My first ever derby was the Graeme Sharp one. Been to a few goodison derbies, never once in the away end.

Had to go in the Gwladys for this one. Only a few of us, but enough to make some noise. Not much aggro but loads of abuse. Simpler times. Goal inside the first minute, bedlam. 0-3 at half time I think, remember hanging on for 2-3 win. And could he play.......

He then missed 2 open goals at the Park End. I was in the Main Stand that day. Think we went 3 up and it ended 3 2.
