Another motorist, completely oblivious to cyclists on the inside they're supposed to be giving way to. Sigh. They'll get 3 points and a £100 FPN for that, or 5 points and a bigger fine if they contest this in court.

You catch up & close the distance with the car. The car slows without braking - lift of the accelerator which I do all the time - as he indicates left. And you maintain a close 'tailgate' distance, as he indicates left. Essentially you set this driver up to 'fail'.

The driver had every opportunity to check their blind spot and give priority to any other road users that were preparing to overtake it.

You was in cycle lane fir most of that video ,, YOU SHOULD HAVE SLOWED DOWN ! they were indicating to show intention and you were behind , GROW UP YOU RAT

wow...your timeline will now fill up with gammons who have not looked at the Highway Code since 1972, excusing their behaviour.

I’d stop that sentence just after Code.

Cars indicating, you go charging up the inside. Who’s really at fault here?

Car had right of way. Was infront so had right of way.

Nobody has right of way, and the HWC provides guidance as to when priority should be given. In this case, the car driver should have made sure it was safe to manoeuvre before doing so.

To be fair, and as a cyclist, it is difficult to tell how 'visible' you were at this point (given the camera angle)

If you were in a car you wouldn’t attempt to undertake a car signalling left so why would you be that thick you’d try it on a bike? Just to ring your wee bell. Fucking gimp.
