Agreed 100%. This is what I do. In fact, my painted pieces have fewer layers than my cell-shaded ones. I make a lot of mistakes/adjustments throughout the process. It's easier when you remove the guesswork on which layer needs fixing.

Do you know what song we’ve been sleeping on as a fandom?? Stay Alive. The vocals. The arrangement. The song itself provides so much depth to the emotions of its listener. The song encompasses the mix of Yoongi’s golden touch and Jungkook’s immaculate vocals phenomenally. I was just driving and the song came on and I suddenly was overcome with layers and layers and layers of emotions; all solely evoked by the song alone. It’s a fxcking masterpiece, man. I can’t. Not sure how helpful this will be, but this is how I separated the nose! Skin layer shaped as the nose, and the lines clipped into it. The nose layers should be above the eyes to cover them when the head rotates :3
