Another nail in the ⚰️Labour have refused to mandate swift bricks while announcing the £13.2bn budget for insulation. I’ve explained how national scale insulation is destroying cavity nesting habitat without mitigating the loss & indirect mitigation with swift bricks would work.

No one who cares about nature will ever vote Labour again.

California’s “paper” wetland restorations? One small island, a vanished Delta Smelt, and a $39M fine expose what might be the biggest eco-cover-up in the Bay-Delta.

I really just don't get it. What's their problem with this simple and inexpensive legislation, that's not going to cost the tax payer anything, but help to bring an extinction threatened creature back from the brink?

I really don’t know

So disillusioned with this government’s wildlife actions

Made on mass these bricks will be inexpensive. These fat cat building companies can easily afford them. Swifts are in danger of dying out. Labour is a disgrace.

This government have no concern for wildlife at all, wouldn’t cost them anything to mandate swift bricks, what the hell is wrong with them?

@UKLabour is a lost cause. Taken over by people who no the cost of everything and the value of nothing

They are irredeemably stupid. And they once supported the idea!! Nature means nothing to them

I will NEVER vote labour while they continue ton destroy the wildlife of this country. Somebody has lobbied very hard against this. There is dirty money involved.

This @UKLabour govt is almost certainly the worst for nature that I’ve known in my lifetime…
