Announcing the Open Model Series: a new series on open source AI models, with merve of Hugging Face. Hugging Face is the open model hub: it hosts model weights, datasets, evals, & demo apps, and maintains the open-source libraries (like transformers) used to run and train them. I think of it like GitHub, but for AI models. You can download open models and run them on your own machines. In this series we'll cover what open source and open weight models are, how they work, how to run them yourself, and why they're important. By the way - this video is edited entirely with Claude! I can make a tutorial on how I did it. If there's a question you want answered about open models, leave it in the comments. We will read them all. Episode 1 is out soon.

Tul : Since I was young, both sides of my family, my dad’s and my mom’s, were kind of conservative. So I grew up seeing their perspectives on gender and love. Decided to do a surprise drop this morning for my first open edition on @opdotxyz to represent my music 😎 While I was in Vegas for Apefest, my wife and I made a quick stop to film a music video at the Seven Magic Mountains art installation. Here we are 👀 There are honestly so many things to say. First of all, I want to thank you all for the insane support, both here and on Twitch. Sometimes I stop and think about how far I’ve come… and if you’ve seen the video about my past, you already know. TCGs mean way more to me than just a game, they literally saved me. And you saved me. My only goal was to win this tournament. I didn’t care about glory or prizes, I had to win it for my Mom This is for her. I’m sure she saw everything that happened today and how many people were there for me ❤️ I want to thank all my friends there are way too many to tag. Usually I’m the one giving them props 🤣 Shoutout to my sister as well, who “blessed” me by saying: “You have a 1 in a million chance to win this tournament.” Well… it was the right timeline 🦋 The final was literally the one I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve always joked with Mirko about playing a final against him, and like I told you, he’s one of the reasons I even started playing TCGs. It really feels closing the circle. I also want to talk about what happened in Top 4. It’s two full days of playing, a lot of pressure, and an insanely high level. You all saw the names in this top cut playing at that level for so long is not easy at all. And I’ll say this clearly: Mirko is one of the most genuine people I know. What happened on feature was an UNINTENTIONAL misplay. It happens everyone has made mistakes like that at least once. Don’t be too harsh, there are bigger problems than that. Jensen is standing on stage saying that's the sideshow. The proprietary model is the convenience layer you rent when you don't care. The open model is the thing you own when the work is yours.
