Hear Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller describe what he would look for when hiring a money manager. “If I was hiring a money manager, the first thing I would look for is if all I heard was they never made a mistake and they’re telling me about all their wins, that is a big red flag. The great money managers I’ve met they generally don’t tell you about their wins , they tell you about a lot of their losses” “I would definitely look for discipline. The first thing when I look at the records, I would go to the bear market periods and see how they did in those and the quality of the records. But you can learn a ton from the record on how they did in certain years and when you see an outlier, you ask them. There will always be one or two inconsistencies in there”

I talked to three Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee today in advance of speaking with you, Katie, and they used the following terms to describe the briefings they’ve gotten from the Defense Department about Iran: useless, empty calories, laughable, and an inability to answer basic questions about readiness and strategy. This happened at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Hartwick, New York. Hundreds of kids/players shouting “Let us play!” were protesting because their tournament games and experience were cancelled. Get this, they do not offer refunds for games that cannot be played. 😳 Cooperstown Dreams Park prides itself in getting all the games played and they do brag about playing rain or shine. In their opening speech they say they will play rain or shine even if games are in the wee hours of the night. There are countless stories of teams playing in the rain at 1am, 2am, 3am in the morning. There are usually 100 teams or more from around the country and sometimes internationally. Each player and coach pays between $1,800 - $2,000 for the overall tournament package, which includes accommodations, meals, gear, and the tournament itself. Of course travel expenses are not included. They cannot postpone the games because each week throughout the summer a new tournament starts. Many people said that is a ridiculous amount of money to pay just to win a tournament. The tournament usually takes in $2.5 million to $3 million dollars in gross revenue per tournament. 🤯 But former players, coaches and parents will tell you it has nothing to do with winning but it is about the experience of playing there. It’s a special place to play and experience baseball. Sounds like they dropped the ball on this one. I say let the kids play or refund them a prorated amount. Worried about weather or injuries? Have the parents sign a waiver. 💯 What would you do if you paid all that money to play (I know some will say they wouldn’t pay that money) and your kid’s tournament was cancelled? The significant international step today is the bill registered in the United States on the confiscation and transfer to our country of the assets of the 🇷🇺 state - a terrorist state - as reparations. I thank the 🇺🇸 Senators for the strong bipartisan support of this issue of justice for 🇺🇦 and all victims of 🇷🇺 terror. In dictatorships like 🇷🇺, money is the highest value. And especially for those who serve the ruling regime or are actually the owners of state structures. We have 100, and we have a I think 290, 300 foot slit right through it. Probably a box cutter or a knife of some kind or we had people lifting up the basic. it’s not a lot of damage. We’ll probably have to let the water out and re fix it. They went in there with a knife. I was just told by the people over at parks, they have five people are arrested and five people are under investigation right now. And it’s a sad thing. In addition to that, they you know, we put brand new beautiful grass all around. They put these massive letters on the grass. You probably know about that, right? And they said 86, 47. I wanted to clarify about the changes around the stop/limit rules First of all, here are the following changes listed below 1. Forex (Foreign Exchange): 5 pips For example, if you're trading the EUR/ USD pair and the minimum limit/ stop distance is 5 pips, you would need to set your limit or stop order at least 5 pips away from the current market price. 1. Indices: 7.50 USD For instance, if you are trading a stock index like the S&P 500 and the minimum limit/ stop distance is 7.50 USD , you would set your limit or stop order with a minimum dollar value of 7.50 away from the current market price. 1. Gold/ Commodities: 1 USD As an example, if you are trading Gold and the minimum limit/ stop distance is 1 USD, your limit or stop order should be placed at least 1 dollar away from the current market price. These changes are necessary for us to maintain the integrity of our platform and simulated trading environments. However, to clarify, this does NOT mean you need to TP or SL at 5 pips Look at the video below, as traders can still implement 2 pip stop losses and take profits if they choose.

It's by getting a lot of publishing - a lot flying around the world to talk about something. You need all of these things to bolster your reputation as an international expert in this area. Now, the best way to do that, at least in psychiatry but I suspect in other areas of medicine, is actually to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to run clinical trials. They write the publications for you - most of it, they do a lot of the grunt work, they give you the protocols, and then, essentially, they fund you and fly you around the place. I used to remember, as a junior doctor, looking up to the Professors. And they would say, 'These drugs are safe and effective. There's not a lot of problems there.' ...What I've seen more and more is that they've been compromised, and that they have incentives tied to the money and to career advancement. That means that they can't be as forthright as they ought to be about these things. And it's gotten to a problem where these are the Professors who are training the doctors who are setting the tone for what is acceptable care out there. I was recently on a panel with a senior Welsh Reform politician and we were asked about devolving the Crown Estate. He said that Wales shouldn't have more powers because "we are not very good in Wales at being efficient in running things". There are a few points I would make about the comment: 1. There are legitimate arguments for not devolving the Crown Estate. I chronicle them in my book. I do on balance believe it would be better for Wales if it was devolved (or at least the money from it was sent directly to Wales) but it is not inherently “anti-Wales” to be hesitant about the devolution of the Crown Estate. 2. However, the argument that “we are not very good in Wales at being efficient” is one of the most infantile descriptions of a nation I have ever heard, especially coming from a man/party who claimed they wanted to lead that nation. The idea that Wales and the Welsh are uniquely incapable of running something illustrates a level of self-hate and lack of confidence that we need to shed. It’s a narrative that holds us back more than almost anything. 3. Nothing says “I don’t think we will ever run the Welsh Government” like this statement. If Reform really believed they would one day have the levers of government at their disposal, they wouldn’t be so quick to deny Wales having them.
