Another one - The below clip is from a Fall 2018 Graduate MIT course called "Blockchain and Money" Gary Gensler - the current President of the SEC, was the professor. Once again, I will let the below video speak for itself. Lecture 8: Public Policy - October 1, 2018... "We'll talk a lot about initial coin offerings. And are they securities or are they not? But I would note, in terms of market value, probably 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩... Bitcoin's 54%, Ether's about 15 points or something like that." - Gary Gensler #genslertapesshow more

The Hypocrisy speaks for itself 🐀 "So we already know in the US and in many other jurisdictions that 3/4 of the market are not ICOs or NOT what would be called securities, even in the US, Canada, and Taiwan, the three jurisdictions that follow something similar to the Howey Test that we've talked about. 3/4 of the market is non-securities. It's just a commodity, a cash crypto."

a16z's Martin Casado: Cursor could have easily raised at $60B standalone and he had non-public proof points he declines to talk about, and says it had the fastest growth he's ever seen in 20 years in Silicon Valley HOST: Do you think their $60 billion value would have been their value independently, or was that mainly because of SpaceX? CASADO: Well, to who? HOST: To just, like, its value -- I mean, to SpaceX for sure, but would that have been its value independently, outside of SpaceX? To like an investor? CASADO: Yeah, for sure. I know for sure, because we could easily have raised it at that value. Now, that said, private investors are crazy, and they kind of see the future and everything. How would it have done in the public market? I don't know, I can't even speculate about those types of things. But for sure, the private independent value was of that order. And there's a lot of non-public proof points to that, which I can't talk about. But yes, I do think so. And again, the business was doing phenomenally -- if you saw the numbers they talked about, this is the fastest growth I've ever seen, certainly in 10 years of investing and in 20 years in the Valley.

☢️ SHOCKING BOMBSHELL: Jeffrey Epstein Was Secretly Plotting with Future SEC Chair Gary Gensler on Crypto Leaked Messages EXPOSE It All! $XRP 🚨 Definitive, jaw-dropping PROOF just dropped from the Epstein files – Gary Gensler (the man who later became the crypto-hating SEC boss) was LITERALLY in Epstein's orbit, scrambling to meet up and dish on digital currencies... YEARS before he took over Wall Street's watchdog role! Check these explosive screenshots from May 5-6, 2018 – straight from Epstein's own emails: Epstein frantically texting Larry Summers: 🔹 “Gary Gensler coming earlier dont know him wants to talk digital currencies. Views?” (Translation: Epstein's setting up a mystery rendezvous and begging for dirt on this rising star who wants to geek out over crypto!) 🔹Then the follow-up bombshell to Steve Bannon: “I'm with Gary Gensler on crypto tomorrow can talk before 7 am” This wasn't some random chat – Epstein was coordinating schedules, name-dropping, and apparently ready to dive deep into the future of digital money with the guy who would one day unleash the most brutal crackdown on crypto in history! Coincidence? Or something way darker? The timing lines up perfectly with Gensler's MIT blockchain era (where Epstein had pumped money into related programs) and his path straight to SEC power. You won't believe what this REALLY means for Ripple, XRP, Bitcoin, and the entire crypto world... 😱 Drop your thoughts below – is this the smoking gun we've all been waiting for?! 🔥

Hear Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller describe what he would look for when hiring a money manager. “If I was hiring a money manager, the first thing I would look for is if all I heard was they never made a mistake and they’re telling me about all their wins, that is a big red flag. The great money managers I’ve met they generally don’t tell you about their wins , they tell you about a lot of their losses” “I would definitely look for discipline. The first thing when I look at the records, I would go to the bear market periods and see how they did in those and the quality of the records. But you can learn a ton from the record on how they did in certain years and when you see an outlier, you ask them. There will always be one or two inconsistencies in there”

Elon Musk: It shouldn't be up to a few media oligarchs to steer the narrative. “The biggest point of manipulation that occurs in the media is not when the media says something that's false or misleading – they do that – but their choice of narrative. What are they going to talk about? By choosing to focus on one thing and not focus on another thing, they're steering what information the public receives. Whereas, I think the right thing is that the narratives that are important should be the narratives that the people as a whole think are important, not what a few media oligarchs think is important. But they sure like controlling information.” Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, October 19, 2024

🚨 JUST IN: Senate Leader John Thune says he will FORCE a vote on the SAVE America Act, but he can NOT guarantee it will pass because that needs 60 votes "That debate will happen. But like I said, I can guarantee the debate. I can guarantee a vote. I just can't guarantee an outcome." "There are a lot of optimistic views about what Democrats may or may not do. We all know, because we deal with them every day, that the Democrats are not all of a sudden going to decide that this is something they want to be for." "I think you have a lot of optimists out there, and I appreciate that, and a lot of passion and energy behind getting an outcome here." "But getting an outcome would require Democrat votes." "And, you know, we'll give them a chance. Like I said, they'll have that opportunity to vote one way or the other on this. But I would be very, very surprised."

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: When asked about how 3:15 PM cutoffs and closing auction price spreads are disrupting his algorithmic hedging and intraday risk management, with Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) confirming Closing Auction Session (CAS) is permanent, Shrikant Chouhan, Head of Equity Research, Kotak Securities, says, "...If we go through with the CAS-related issues which are giving some kind of uneasiness for option traders... this time option traders, they are mainly affected. The reason is that between this time gap, the prices change a lot, and because of that, most of the time on the day of expiry, especially on the day of expiry, it actually impacts option traders, those who are like writers. Broadly, we are of the view that at present SEBI is holding a lot of meetings with brokers, traders, algo traders, and they are designing their framework... they are ready to make changes as per the difficulties which traders are facing... broadly, I am of the view that it may take some time, but in the next maybe 1-2 months, definitely something will come out concrete, and based on that, again, we can see normalisation in the market... till then, option traders, especially writers or those who are using algorithms, they are trying to stay away from the market because of which volatility has also come down sharply in the market. You can see the market is falling gradually, but at the same time, intraday volatility is very low. Even if we consider Volatility Index (VIX), India's VIX index, that is also close to 11 or maybe 11.5 sort of levels, which is the lowest... it means that option traders are not active in this market. That is why I am of the view that it will take some time to come to normalcy. But eventually, definitely, we will come out with something that will help traders, option traders, I mean to say, in terms of managing their risk. It's not that they can increase their volume and all because our government is primarily focusing on controlling this particular speculative activity... they are trying to control that, and maybe because of that, I think they will come out with something which is very balanced."

MacFarlane: Democrats who are in some of the briefings that do exist say those briefings are a hot mess. I talked to three Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee today in advance of speaking with you, Katie, and they used the following terms to describe the briefings they’ve gotten from the Defense Department about Iran: useless, empty calories, laughable, and an inability to answer basic questions about readiness and strategy. What they’re saying is that when they get briefings from Pete Hegseth’s team at the Department of Defense or Hegseth himself, it’s a bunch of political talking points. They blame President Biden or President Obama for things. They talk about what they aspire to do, but they’re not getting any meat on the bones in these briefings. And the Democrats who are on the Armed Services Committee will also tell you Republicans aren’t pleased with these briefings either.

The bond market no longer responds to the Fed or the Treasury "We have, for the first time in decades, 10-year yields have surpassed 5%." "Remember, Powell cut rates and we started a rate cutting cycle. That should have sent those yields down. It didn't." "We have Bessent trying to talk yields down by bond market intervention. That has not worked. The bond vigilantes are not believing any of this. And to be quite frank, I don't think they believe a 25 bip rate hike either." "I think that the Fed is largely neutered here. Nothing they do short of raising a full point or two points, or doing something extremely aggressive which obviously is not even in the cards, would even affect the market." "So I actually think if they hike rates, we'll probably see some temporary relief and then rates will once again rise, which is what's happened every time that they've tried to intervene."

This happened at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Hartwick, New York. Hundreds of kids/players shouting “Let us play!” were protesting because their tournament games and experience were cancelled. Get this, they do not offer refunds for games that cannot be played. 😳 Cooperstown Dreams Park prides itself in getting all the games played and they do brag about playing rain or shine. In their opening speech they say they will play rain or shine even if games are in the wee hours of the night. There are countless stories of teams playing in the rain at 1am, 2am, 3am in the morning. There are usually 100 teams or more from around the country and sometimes internationally. Each player and coach pays between $1,800 - $2,000 for the overall tournament package, which includes accommodations, meals, gear, and the tournament itself. Of course travel expenses are not included. They cannot postpone the games because each week throughout the summer a new tournament starts. Many people said that is a ridiculous amount of money to pay just to win a tournament. The tournament usually takes in $2.5 million to $3 million dollars in gross revenue per tournament. 🤯 But former players, coaches and parents will tell you it has nothing to do with winning but it is about the experience of playing there. It’s a special place to play and experience baseball. Sounds like they dropped the ball on this one. I say let the kids play or refund them a prorated amount. Worried about weather or injuries? Have the parents sign a waiver. 💯 What would you do if you paid all that money to play (I know some will say they wouldn’t pay that money) and your kid’s tournament was cancelled? What can you do if it is stipulated that there are no refunds? 🤷‍♂️

Brian Armstrong tells the story of suing Gary Gensler's SEC "When you go public you have to describe every single detail of your business to the SEC. They turned over every stone, and then they allowed us to become a public company. Then a year later, Gensler's SEC came to us saying they were concerned about everything we were doing" "I said, you're the regulator just tell us what the rules are and we're happy to comply. Gensler told me, I'm not going to give you legal advice, you need to talk to your lawyers" "People said as a public company CEO you should never sue the SEC, it'll put a cloud over your company for years. But our alternative was shutting down the whole industry in the US. At some point I was like, screw it we've got to push back" "We sent a FOIA request for Gary Gensler's text messages. After many rounds of negotiation the SEC came back and said he had accidentally deleted them. They can't find them" "If the government is suing you as a public company CEO and you say, oh yeah I accidentally deleted all the documents.. you'd pay a $100 million fine" "But anyway, in this case the court actually ruled in our favor and censured them and told them that they had violated their obligations and actually awarded us damages"

The significant international step today is the bill registered in the United States on the confiscation and transfer to our country of the assets of the 🇷🇺 state - a terrorist state - as reparations. I thank the 🇺🇸 Senators for the strong bipartisan support of this issue of justice for 🇺🇦 and all victims of 🇷🇺 terror. In dictatorships like 🇷🇺, money is the highest value. And especially for those who serve the ruling regime or are actually the owners of state structures. When the terrorist state and all 🇷🇺 individuals whose collaboration with the Kremlin created the conditions for aggression or who are a public cover for 🇷🇺 corrupt officials lose their money, a very important goal will be achieved - they will feel what loss is. They do not respect life and do not feel regret when human lives are lost. The 🇷🇺 ruling class does not value people and is willing to waste human lives by the hundreds of thousands. But they do care about money - the money they have appropriated. They value their assets. They must lose them completely, and in favor of those who suffered from 🇷🇺 aggression, from this terrorist war, in favor of our state, 🇺🇦 people.

Q: Are the contractors who did the initial work with the reflecting pool are they to blame for the current condition? Trump: No, no, we had vandalism, vandals. We have 100, and we have a I think 290, 300 foot slit right through it. Probably a box cutter or a knife of some kind or we had people lifting up the basic. it’s not a lot of damage. We’ll probably have to let the water out and re fix it. They went in there with a knife. I was just told by the people over at parks, they have five people are arrested and five people are under investigation right now. And it’s a sad thing. In addition to that, they you know, we put brand new beautiful grass all around. They put these massive letters on the grass. You probably know about that, right? And they said 86, 47. They probably got that from the dirty cop Comey. You know, he’s a dirty cop, don’t you? Dirty cop. He’s a crooked guy. They destroyed the grass. So, that’s a big thing.

.meow talks to Youtube co-founder steve chen about UGC and UGM: “You’re obviously one of the pioneers of this thing called UGC, right? User Generated Content. And then what we are seeing now in this space is what I call UGM — User Generated Money. In UGC, the value is created from the users. And then in Web3 or crypto, the value is generated from the users too. In UGC, we move from an era of the big studios—the big studios create the content, they monetize the content, and they get the value from the content. But what you did is that you democratized the process. You allowed users to create the content, market the content too, and also get the value from the content. For example, if you’re Netflix, you have to make the content, market it, and run advertising globally. You go anywhere across the world—Japan, Tokyo, Europe—you see Netflix advertisements everywhere. But in this new era, the users are the ones that market their own content. And the same thing is happening in the crypto world. The users are generating the money, marketing the money, and getting the value of the money. There are a lot of nuances to this but generally speaking, it’s fascinating because we are really at the nexus of UGC and UGM.”

Trump: I met with pollsters the day before I got the news about covid. They said sir, if George Washington and Abraham Lincoln came back from the dead and they aligned and they went for the president and vice president as a combination you would be beating them by 25 points. The next day I was told something strange is happening. There is a lot of death being reported in a certain country. I won't tell you which one because that country is well represented here but you know which one. Thousands and thousands of people are dying. I said that's strange. Turned out to be a disaster for the world. Nothing has been seen like that since 1917.

Jamie Carragher claims TOTTENHAM are now shopping for a higher level of player than Man United. “In the past, United are there, Tottenham there, aren't they, in terms of the players that you're almost attracted [to]. It almost feels like, I don't know how many years ago, that would almost be the other way around, where it'd be United going and getting Tonali and Fernandez, and Tottenham would have to put up with the others and say, ‘Well, we can't get the ones off the top shelf, we've got to get them just a little bit below.’” Gary: “I think the two that they probably would have wanted two or three months ago would have been Anderson and Fernandez. They were the two, I think, that they would have thought, ‘That's the, ’ But City obviously have done a deal with Anderson. He's chosen Manchester City. So you can't do anything about that.”

WATCH: New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor – who wrote many of the #MeToo stories – DEFENDS Graham Platner and DISMISSES the allegations against him by Lyndsey Fifield and other ex-girlfriends because they were not “abuse” and women saying they just “did not like what” they saw from him... “Well, let’s talk about what they may or may not be willing to overlook the accusations against Graham Platner are not classic MeToo accusations. They’re not about a boss and a young female employee being subjected to sexual advances. They’re — they were mostly made in the context of consensual relationships. There are these, like, very sensational texts about sex. There are allegations from former girlfriends that are not — the way my colleagues reported them were not like classic abuse allegations. They were mostly like being his boyfriend gave me a view into him and I did not like what I saw. His character was scary. He had this Nazi tattoo. Et cetera.” “There was one allegation of crossing a line physically, but I think that means that these are pretty different accusations than, say, the one that — the ones that President Trump faced. And, of course, in the Access Hollywood tape, President Trump bragged about grabbing women against their will. And so I think it speaks to the kind of confusion of the long post MeToo moment in which, like, gender related accusations get bundled together. But they’re actually very different.”
