I know for sure, because we could easily have raised it at that value. Now, that said, private investors are crazy, and they kind of see the future and everything. Hear Stanley Druckenmiller Stan Druckenmiller describe what he would look for when hiring a money manager. “If I was hiring a money manager, the first thing I would look for is if all I heard was they never made a mistake and they’re telling me about all their wins, that is a big red flag. The great money managers I’ve met they generally don’t tell you about their wins , they tell you about a lot of their losses” “I would definitely look for discipline. The first thing when I look at the records, I would go to the bear market periods and see how they did in those and the quality of the records. But you can learn a ton from the record on how they did in certain years and when you see an outlier, you ask them. There will always be one or two inconsistencies in there”

The reason is that between this time gap, the prices change a lot, and because of that, most of the time on the day of expiry, especially on the day of expiry, it actually impacts option traders, those who are like writers. Broadly, we are of the view that at present SEBI is holding a lot of meetings with brokers, traders, algo traders, and they are designing their framework... they are ready to make changes as per the difficulties which traders are facing... broadly, I am of the view that it may take some time, but in the next maybe 1-2 months, definitely something will come out concrete, and based on that, again, we can see normalisation in the market... till then, option traders, especially writers or those who are using algorithms, they are trying to stay away from the market because of which volatility has also come down sharply in the market. You can see the market is falling gradually, but at the same time, intraday volatility is very low. Even if we consider Volatility Index (VIX), India's VIX index, that is also close to 11 or maybe 11.5 sort of levels, which is the lowest... it means that option traders are not active in this market. That is why I am of the view that it will take some time to come to normalcy. But eventually, definitely, we will come out with something that will help traders, option traders, I mean to say, in terms of managing their risk. MacFarlane: Democrats who are in some of the briefings that do exist say those briefings are a hot mess. I talked to three Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee today in advance of speaking with you, Katie, and they used the following terms to describe the briefings they’ve gotten from the Defense Department about Iran: useless, empty calories, laughable, and an inability to answer basic questions about readiness and strategy. What they’re saying is that when they get briefings from Pete Hegseth’s team at the Department of Defense or Hegseth himself, it’s a bunch of political talking points. They blame President Biden or President Obama for things. They talk about what they aspire to do, but they’re not getting any meat on the bones in these briefings. And the Democrats who are on the Armed Services Committee will also tell you Republicans aren’t pleased with these briefings either.

This happened at Cooperstown Dreams Park in Hartwick, New York. Hundreds of kids/players shouting “Let us play!” were protesting because their tournament games and experience were cancelled. Get this, they do not offer refunds for games that cannot be played. 😳 Cooperstown Dreams Park prides itself in getting all the games played and they do brag about playing rain or shine. In their opening speech they say they will play rain or shine even if games are in the wee hours of the night. There are countless stories of teams playing in the rain at 1am, 2am, 3am in the morning. There are usually 100 teams or more from around the country and sometimes internationally. Each player and coach pays between $1,800 - $2,000 for the overall tournament package, which includes accommodations, meals, gear, and the tournament itself. Of course travel expenses are not included. They cannot postpone the games because each week throughout the summer a new tournament starts. Many people said that is a ridiculous amount of money to pay just to win a tournament. The tournament usually takes in $2.5 million to $3 million dollars in gross revenue per tournament. 🤯 But former players, coaches and parents will tell you it has nothing to do with winning but it is about the experience of playing there. It’s a special place to play and experience baseball. Sounds like they dropped the ball on this one. I say let the kids play or refund them a prorated amount. Worried about weather or injuries? Have the parents sign a waiver. 💯 What would you do if you paid all that money to play (I know some will say they wouldn’t pay that money) and your kid’s tournament was cancelled? The significant international step today is the bill registered in the United States on the confiscation and transfer to our country of the assets of the 🇷🇺 state - a terrorist state - as reparations. I thank the 🇺🇸 Senators for the strong bipartisan support of this issue of justice for 🇺🇦 and all victims of 🇷🇺 terror. In dictatorships like 🇷🇺, money is the highest value. And especially for those who serve the ruling regime or are actually the owners of state structures. When the terrorist state and all 🇷🇺 individuals whose collaboration with the Kremlin created the conditions for aggression or who are a public cover for 🇷🇺 corrupt officials lose their money, a very important goal will be achieved - they will feel what loss is. They do not respect life and do not feel regret when human lives are lost. The 🇷🇺 ruling class does not value people and is willing to waste human lives by the hundreds of thousands. But they do care about money - the money they have appropriated. They value their assets.
