"Yesterday, Soi 6 in Pattaya turned into the scene of a huge brawl started by a drunk foreigner. Another man got involved, and the staff from a nearby bar rushed in to separate the two fighters. The CCTV video shows how kind, calm, and helpful the staff were, doing everything they could to stop the fight and protect everyone around. A young female motorist was arrested for drunk driving on Youth Day, after allegedly driving under the influence on the N2, crashing into road infrastructure and driving into oncoming traffic. According to KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport and Human Settlements Siboniso Duma, the driver was highly intoxicated, became unruly with Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) officers, and reportedly attempted to intimidate them by asking if they knew who she was. After failing to answer a simple road safety question posed by officers, she was arrested and is expected to appear in court on 17 June.
