Hope will always have a home with us. As I hinted at this morning, I got a sense from the property manager that this tear down ranch house may not be available as a rental for much longer… we could try to buy the lot but the process is long and complicated…and there would be no house standing while it all played out. And we’d be competing against a bunch of local developers. We went in another direction. To be honest this is a plan/project we’ve been working on for the last six months. I’ll cut to the chase. We bought a house under construction four doors down. It’s already part of Hope and the herd’s habitat so the adjustment should be fairly smooth. If you look at the first photo shot from the top floor of our new house you can see our small ranch rental between the blue house and light brown one. We’re moving in. Some of our deer friends have already joined us. See short video shot from our new rear deck.

Ekpoma is bleeding. Kidnappers have taken over Edo state. They now go from house to house, kidnapping families; students most especially. I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. Of course, the police were nowhere to be found! Attached is the live feed of that terrifying event. Nigeria is unbelievable! People protested against insecurity, & you pointed the end of the barrel at them BECAUSE YOU CAN, & THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! And where is Monday Okpebholo & Bola Tinubu? They latter promised to reduce your purchasing power & further slow down the economy, & he did! The former promised Edolites “insecurity” during his campaigns. IS HE FINALLY KEEPING THAT PROMISE? What’s wrong with the black race for Christ’s sake? WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON????

It lowkey reminded me of what I think old school cookies🍪 strains would taste like but with that little 🍋 / 🫐 twist. The high was super chill and kinda cerebral at first, really euphoric, and it had me feeling active. Dad tip: One thing I do often that I just did today was when we are playing at a park or play land & a kid is: -kind -polite -friendly -respectful I make it a point to go up to his parents & tell them awesome job raising a great young man afterwards. Today, an awesome 12 year old that climbed this entire shaky ladder kept encouraging Kingston, telling him great job, giving him pointers & was just an awesome young man. He had hair just like Kingston's too :) His parents beamed with pride when I went over to them later to tell them what a great kid they had & that they were doing an awesome job as parents because kids like that don't happen by accident. Parenting is hard. We should all encourage one another & celebrate great young, respectful boys & girls. Shoutout to all the parents working hard raising young champions & future leaders!

You have to be really dumb to misinterpret this and then set your own supposed fave up at the same time All Jimin did here was to encourage Tae, who was the MC, to wrap up the dinner with a message to ARMYs. Jungkook agreed with Jimin and told everyone else to stay quiet so Tae could do his ment alone (adding a new rule to what Jimin said). After which Jimin again repeated what Jungkook just said about letting Tae speak alone. It was Yoongi who said not to add pressure. Trying so hard to portray Jimin as a bad guy here does nothing but claim the same about Jungkook, who not only agreed with him, but also doubled down and added another rule so no one else could comment or help Tae with his speech. But like always they dgaf as long as they can twist things to hate on Jimin. Even koreans are clocking your stupid asses and telling you, again, to stop using your lack of understanding in their language (and just normal reading comprehension) to twist situations against members

INDIANAPOLIS—I found this video and everybody was race raging in the replies. ThE PoLiCe aRe GeNoCiDiNg uS!! 🙄 Here’s the context you are too stupid to research: Police received multiple calls that a man named Lemar Brandon Qualls was waving a gun around and pointing it at people in public. One call from a woman: ‘He has a gun. He has put it in front of my face, and he clanked it against a metal bar to let me know it's real.’ You can see the gun in his right hand in the video. Also, this is not Brandon’s porch. This is a complete strangers house. A woman’s. When police confronted Qualls, he pointed his gun at one of them. Qualls fucked around. Qualls found out. If your immediate emotional response to shit like this is based entirely around skin color and not consequences and accountability, you are not a serious person. Famous rapper Julio Foolio was just gunned down last night and none of you will bat an eye because his killer wasn’t white and this is business as usual.

As I always say, comps are never enough to judge a player (credit to Brazil Scout on YT / Brazil Scout on X), but this moment from Ifeanyi Ndukwe really caught my eye. For someone who’s close to 2 meters tall, the agility and footwork here are genuinely impressive. He bends his knees to drop his centre of gravity, adjusts his angle well, and crucially maintains a side-on stance instead of opening up. He stays on his toes for most of the sequence, only getting caught flat-footed right at the end. Even then, his reach compensates, allowing him to poke the ball away from distance. I remember watching his for Austria U17 vs Italy U17 a while back. He came on in the second half and didnt do a lot for me to note down, but his positioning and awareness were another strong qualities that I remember.
