ELON MUSK: The only way to reach 1,000 terawatts of AI power is a mass driver on the Moon. "In order to get to 1,000x from a terawatt per year. The only way that we can really achieve that is on the moon with a mass driver, essentially where you do local production of photovoltaics and radiators on the moon, maybe you bring the chips from Earth, or you could conceivably make the chips on the moon, and but you need most of the mass to be made on the moon, so you don't have to transport it to the moon from Earth, and then because the moon has no atmosphere and only 1/6 Earth's gravity, you can accelerate the AI satellites into deep space without a rocket, so you can basically shoot them into space using an electromagnetic gun, like a, like a rail gun type. I mean, just, it's basically a linear electric motor, as a way to think about it."

No, I read it a bit in school, but I don't think I'd read it properly as an adult, but I read it just before the meeting, basically. It's fascinating. It's so weird, though. You don't realize how familiar you are with it, I'm like, 'Oh, I know every single character.' I mean, everything's based on The Odyssey, so it's kind of crazy."

Just finished The Boroughs. 9/10. The horror was great, but what stayed with me were the layers underneath it grief, loneliness, friendship, love, and the need to feel seen. That final scene with Sam definitely looks like a setup for Season 2, but here’s my unpopular opinion👇🏽 Not every great show needs another season. The Boroughs gave us a powerful story, memorable characters, and an ending that leaves you thinking long after the credits roll. Sometimes that’s enough. I would rather remember it as a masterpiece than watch it get stretched beyond what made it special. I recommend the movie 10/10. #TheBoroughs

But when I went to that concert recently, I realized that the fans watching from the audience are so pretty. I also saw it from the audience's perspective this time, and it was so pretty, but it's definitely different from seeing it from the stage. Seeing it from the stage is like... it's like a movie. Created a flag on the moon based with hyper-realistic physics with v0: The flag is simulated as a grid of particles connected by springs (cloth simulation). It's influenced by gravity, wind, air resistance. The initial approach v0 one-shotted was quite simplistic, but giving it references to more sophisticated approaches in C++ and Rust quickly improved it. It was mind-blowing it to see it deeply understand the physics and port new ideas across languages. It simulated a real sun for lighting, and procedurally generated moon-like terrain with craters. I found a sick free texture on Reddit that I uploaded and it layered on top. Another epic moment was watching it improve performance. It seamlessly moved the physics simulation to a Web Worker. (Kinda cool to see given we just improved support for them in Turbopack 😉)
