This week I got to interview Hamish McArthur for Climbing Gold. One of the interesting nuggets was that he said one of his gifts as a climber (besides being the first person to climb V17 in a session…) was his ability to quickly assess and learn from his movement. It inspired me to start videoing attempts on the board, and lo and behold I sent a few things with subtle tweaks to body position, etc. I guess I may have to join modernity and start using video as a tool more…

Had some commenters ask about Ousmane Kromah’s “Bow Legged: ELITE Contact Balance”. It’s a theory I’ve had since first watching him on January 18th almost a year ago. One of the reasons I think he’s so special. Longer post as I breakdown this play👇 There’s a guy on his back that’s about to tackle him and a guy on his side trying to tackle him. Ous puts his right hand down to try and prevent a tackle. He tries to plant back legs and his right leg slips. He’s holding the weight of two people on top of him while balancing on one leg and one arm. Then he twists up entirely on one leg and throws them off. At one point, Ous has all of his weight on his left leg which is like fully extended. This defender is completely off the turf and on top of Ous and he just stands straight up likes it’s nothing. So he shouldn’t have been able to stay on his feet, but it’s even crazier he didn’t suffer a knee injury when you consider the weight on his back and the way his knee bent. I think being bow legged allows him to do stuff like this without sustaining injuries that any other human would. Glad I got to share this.

This particular video of Trump arriving home last night, with his tie in hand, after a full day of campaigning, really gets me. He doesn’t have to be doing any of this. He gave up so much to endure non-stop abuse, backstabbing, lies, slander, targeting of his family, attempts on his life, and general bullsh-t; and yet there always seems to be a critic out there. He does all this because he knows what this country and its people are capable of, he loves them and wants them to experience the country of opportunity he grew up in; a country that is a force for good.

As of this morning, this guy has deleted everything about “cancer” from his TikTok page but forgot to remove his bio and GoFundMe link. This boy was allegedly scamming people here and on TikTok. I’ve never seen a scam go this far even creating a GoFundMe to make it look real. Thankfully, I screen-recorded his page last night. Frame 1: screen record from last night everything still visible. This is Benoît, he would have been 18 years old today. He was murdered last week during the riots that followed the football game. His aggressor stabbed him to death because Benoît refused to hand over his hat. I enjoyed meeting President Trump for the first time after his address to Congress. I took the brief opportunity to mention our mutual friend Mike Leach and we had warm exchange about the “great, great coach.” Mike used to talk with me frequently about his friendship with President Trump, including once secretly visiting Mara Lago during a bye week and discussing his own interest in potentially running for political office when he hung up the whistle. “You would have my complete and total support.” (Mike’s incredible personal skills, story telling ability and no BS common sense would have made him a very innovative and effective elected official.) I’m sure at some point in the future I will have an opportunity to discuss substantive policy with the President, but I’m also looking forward to some hopeful lighter moments to share Leach stories. Mike was the best and I have zero doubt that he is watching down with a big smile on his face as he’s telling a few stories about some guys he know right now. (Thank you to the many of my friends who sent me screen shots and clips). 🇺🇸

Mind you Jeffree used to go by any pronouns and was fine with being called a woman a few years ago. He was also supportive of people using any pronouns they felt comfortable with. He’s no longer able to collab with people due to his shitty behavior so now he’s catering to conservatives so he can sell his makeup. It’s crazy that a few years ago he was talking about how much internal work he’s done on himself to become less hateful and now he’s arguably more hateful than he ever was. He was friends with trans creators in the makeup community for years and collabed with them many times. He even bragged about how diverse his company was and that he employs trans people. He is especially known for stalking Winky D, and posting negative comments and mockeries about him, in order to please his ZANU masters. He thought that if he placed himself on the buttered side 🧈🍞 – the OPPRESSOR’S side - then he would be on the fast track to wealth, freebies and trinkets. 💵 Amateur mistake. It’s difficult to put a finger on exactly when a nation falls. It is hard to know the very moment, but you can feel it in your bones when the president gleefully admits that his election was purchased with money from another country. He does this knowing that moves like this will usher in untold Republican loss in 2026 and 2028. And yet, he still does it. We’ve moved from nuance to bragging about the theft of American tax dollars and delivery over to another people in another place. It is not done to uphold US interests, but is a tithe to unbelievers who hold inexplicable power and authority over our government. And since it is done despite its devastating impacts on the upcoming elections, one must imagine it’s done under some sort of fear or duress. What other explanation could there be? It is one thing to know what goes on behind the scenes, and quite another for the president to admit it. This admission signifies the full transition from a strong lobby to absolute power, with the full sanction of the president and the full weight of government to enforce speech codes and stand up 100 task forces. This is to Republicans as BLM was to Democrats; this is them on one knee ushering in a time when you too will be expected to kneel.

It started with we want to buy your house. The person has not made up his mind and then you come and build a factory close to his fence wall and direct water into his compound. All in a bit to frustrate and push him out of his property. Where in Lebanon or anywhere in this world will a Ghanaian enter to go and treat foreigners this way in their own house and on their own land. Forget the weak minded Ghanaian workers who aid them. This is how we push people to the edge, and when they react and act mindlessly, we will say people are bad. If you have conscience! Armaghan Rehman, who runs a company in California, began by sliding into my Facebook DMs with death and nuclear threats simply over criticism of the Pakistan Army. When I posted screenshots and recordings of his messages, people identified his LinkedIn profile. He panicked and changed his profile picture on Facebook, deleted his first message, and started claiming he is based in Switzerland to create confusion over jurisdiction. After sending his second message, he blocked me. Since then, he has been blocking and unblocking me at his discretion purely to send further abuse. He unblocks me long enough to deliver a message, then blocks me again so I cannot respond. Typical Paki coward. This is not some random trolling. It is ideological intimidation. The rage is not about disagreement. It is about silencing critics of Pakistan’s military establishment and asserting religious supremacy through threats. The abuse is explicitly targeted at my Hindu faith. Pakistan’s state narrative, its textbooks, and its public discourse, rooted in radical Islam, normalise hostility towards Hindus and Jews. Western democracies assume that migration leads to assimilation into pluralistic norms. In some cases, it may. But in most cases, it does not. This is why a Pakistani living in California still feels entitled to terrorise non-Muslims. If you believe in your faith, defend it with arguments. If you believe in your army, defend it with facts. But if your first instinct is death threats and religious slurs, then the problem is not the critic. The problem is what you have been taught to believe about those who are different from you. No one should have to tolerate threats for exercising free speech. And no one living in a democratic country should imagine that online intimidation is consequence-free. I call on the U.S. authorities to identify this racist and hateful individual with violent tendencies, as it is clear by his actions that his ideological conditioning from Pakistan did not evaporate at the immigration counter. He is a threat to the entire civilised world.
