This could be really interesting for like, narrative uses. A character being drugged or going crazy, the world around them shifting before their very eyes. That's where my mind went to at first anyways.

Tiani, all of your posts are amazing! I adore the MegaMan legends style! I dabbled in a prototype with similar gameplay but It never made it much further than that, because I was just a novice at the time. This is so inspiring!

Sometimes I hate myself for the kind of gameplay ideas I have, coding the block physics with the screws was SOO hard But I'm happy that the block puzzles are getting more varied and better integrated with platforming, pacing and all (game is ABYSS X ZERO 👇) #gamedev #lowpoly

I'm so proud of this (wip) code! It's modular in a way I've not done before, making it easier to create different species for the ecosystem and assign them behaviours that interact with one another. Also I have removed p5js and all of this is pure javascript 🪄🎨

Weapon Level Skips in MW4 They seem to be using a modified MWII leveling system where unlocking an attachment unlocks it universally for all guns that can equip it. This is instead of requiring you to level a gun you don't like for the attachments you want on the gun you want to use, you simply level and when you switch guns you will be awarded level skips as you hit those levels on the gun. Significantly lowering needed levels for each weapon.

Never bet against an autistic guy working on his special interest. It took me a solid six months, but I finally got my Tempest AI to play the game at a "master" level. By that I mean it can start at level 1, play to level 99, and keep going, all on "hard" game difficulty. It can't play indefinitely yet, but I'm working on it! Here's a video of it playing through level 96, the hardest level in Tempest! You can monitor the live training here:

Got Xenia Edge working pretty well with Ninja Gaiden 2. Now that I'm properly playing it again, I'm seeing a stronger importance on strings that allow delimbing and that instantly makes me like this version way more than the sigma versions, among many other changes.
