She was indoctrinated to pursue male ambitions and goals. Of course she's not happy. Female goals and ambitions are naturally much different than males.

I doubt she was lonely on any of her trips. I think she means to say now that she's done all of that, she's NOW lonely. No women as she makes all of these wrong decisions feels like its wrong, and no one can talk them out of it. It's always after it's too late does regret come.
