Correction: I was misspoken and meant to say 6,000 planets outside our solar system.

What does "6,000 planets outside of Milky Way" mean? We can see planets in other galaxies? Patently false, but what else can you mean?

@NASA It's obvious there's something very weird and off-limits about the moon. Just sayin.

With Trump's cuts to science ,alienation of partners, and politicization of the space program you may have already lost.

@NASA Winning the next space race predominantly depends on mastering cryo prop transfer in orbit and maturing HLS, both of which are behind schedule.

🌌 This is truly a remarkable step forward! 🚀 With the VIPER rover mission, @NASA and @blueorigin are writing a new chapter for the future of humanity. 🌕 The search for water ice resources will lay the foundation for long-term human settlement in space. A single human step is not just a milestone, but a giant journey toward understanding the universe. ✨🌍➡️🌙 #SpaceExploration #MoonMission #VIPER #NASA #BlueOrigin

Proud of our progress, but wish we'd invest more in climate solutions here on Earth too.

We won this race decades ago. This new narrative is simply to stroke trumps ego. It's actually morally repugnant to disregard the efforts and achievements of those brave pioneers in the 60's and 70's.

why can't we continue working together? a new space race could bring new innovation like the original one, but currently space travel, exploration, and research has gone beyond tensions between countries and have tons of people working together all over the world for science!

@NASA What does this mean? 6000 planets outside of Milky Way?

Our XF7 Space crew loves these weekly space wins 🚀 Quick nerd note: those ~6,000 exoplanets are mostly outside our solar system, but still inside the Milky Way. Outside the Milky Way would be other galaxies, and that number is way harder to measure.

The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) announces a landmark advancement in Pakistan’s Manned Space Mission Program as two Astronaut Candidates, Khurram Daud and Muhammad Zeeshan Ali are set to depart for the People’s Republic of China to begin advanced astronaut training at the Astronaut Centre of China (ACC). This is a significant step forward in Pakistan’s space exploration journey that positions the country in the community of a select group of nations actively engaged in human spaceflight programs. Under this collaboration, Pakistan is preparing for its first-ever participation in a mission to the China Space Station (CSS). The mission is currently planned for launch in late 2026, where a Pakistani astronaut will serve as a Payload Expert aboard the Shenzhen mission. During mission aboard the ‘China Space Station (CSS)’, the Pakistani astronaut will conduct several scientific experiments in microgravity. These experiments span critical areas including material science, fluid physics, life/ bio science, and biotechnology, with potential applications for climate resilience, food security, and industrial innovation. On the historical occasion, Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif commended the efforts of SUPARCO; a harbinger of deep space exploration. He also appreciated ironclad China-Pakistan brotherhood, yet another testimony of which is choosing Pakistan to be the first country for participation in Manned Space Mission.
