Why do the Saudis keep grouping vehicles for town hall meetings in completelly exposed flat surfaces?

Some OSINT accounts are claiming 'modest' gains for the Saudi-backed gov - have you seen any evidence for this?

The most gains they seemed to have made in recent days is in Al-Jawf, but that's largely due to the flat terrain and Saudi airstrikes, they can just as quickly be pushed back out. Both sides took control of one particular town on the front line multiple times in a matter of hours yesterday.
