I call them shameless because they see themselves as mere sexual objects, not as human beings. They believe that if men look at them, they will jump in sexual excitement and pounce on them. By thinking this way, they have not only demeaned themselves but also insulted men. Iran is not too far from Bangladesh. Do these women not know that their fellow Muslim sisters in Iran are being forced to protest against the hijab? Because in that country, hijab is not a choice—it is compulsory! Hundreds of women have been imprisoned, beaten to death, or even shot simply for not wearing the hijab or for not wearing it "properly." And now, women in Iran are even facing the death penalty for not covering themselves. Iranian women are fighting to free themselves from the clutches of the hijab, yet instead of showing solidarity with those oppressed women, Bangladeshi women are willingly wrapping themselves in the same chains. When hijab becomes mandatory, these women will realize the terrible trap they have fallen into. Even if they want to take it off, they won’t be able to. Because removing it will mean facing death. The hijab they wear today out of choice will become unbearable torment tomorrow. Many say that women are the enemies of women. I usually don’t believe that. But seeing the women who marched in favor of hijab in Dhaka, I have no doubt that they are enemies of women. We are living in a time where more men are being more vocal about their feelings which many women have said they have wanted for a long time. However, some women are struggling with accepting what men have to say when it comes to them having to accept that all relationship problems are not caused by men. This is not meant to be an attack on women but many women take it as an attack and are way more interested in defending women than actually understanding what men are trying to say. It tends to be more challenging for women to emotionally regulate and to accept accountability, not because they are flawed, but because of the conditioning and training that has taught women that men are less intelligent and more than often the problem. Quality men, which there are plenty of but are often overlooked and not talked about, are tired of being blamed for everything and are no longer willing to tolerate it. They want to make it clear that most men are not like the stereotypical bs that our society teaches about men. It has been challenging because it's difficult for many women to accept because of their personal experiences from choosing and dealing with lesser quality men.
