Anthony Kim has been working with golf coach Matt Killen, who has previously worked with Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods, and the main issue affecting consistency last year was his alignment: “Yeah, since I've been back playing golf, my shoulders have been right, my feet have been further right.... So, I'm just trying to see my target before I hit the shot. “I've had a few people help me with the setup of golf clubs, but I’m really not working too much on my golf swing, just working on my setup. And if I can get that squared away, I know I can hit a lot of good shots.” AK was practicing down the range before every round on the Asian Tour last year using alignment sticks and doing a little shimmy to get the feels right. Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.” Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? “No. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. “Last week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. “So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.” Bryson says he’s going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. I just realized that was my last tweet, I hope you guys didn't think I was serious haha. I've been working on messing with KH3's physics and controls to make it feel more Sonic-like, using P-06 as a reference. After I get the controls down, im gonna polish up the anims too.

Just discovered a looming issue that has been ongoing. I had been curious why my engagement was not the same - as if something had artificially interfered, and I’ve felt this way for months, but just now have been given official confirmation- Do I feel like it makes sense to limit your reach to people because you are affiliated with brands? No. But I am also appeased knowing that the artificial barrier which had been holding my account back has been discovered and can be adjusted. My account @leviconelyfitness has posts which have reached 7,500 likes when the account has 11,000 followers. My like to view ratio is exorbitant on that profile, but even on this profile, I have healthy and thriving numbers. It’s simply that my reach to the explore page had been shut down by the administration/algorithm. I look forward to the next few stages and posts- to see how much better things could’ve been doing. Meanwhile, I’ll show you examples which can help inform you of what’s possible.

Well… that was a bit of a rollercoaster 🎢 First competition back after a few months off, and my first ever event in the USA, playing the Orlando Championship at Rio Pinar Country Club on the Florida Professional Golf Tour. Excited, nervous, rusty… pretty much the full set. Shot a 79 (+7) and if I’m being totally honest, it could have been a lot worse. The shoulder is still only about 50% and there’s plenty of pain there, so swinging freely just isn’t happening yet. Long game was pretty appalling by my standards and I definitely didn’t hole anywhere near as many putts as I’d expect to. That said, it was a really good experience on a tight, tricky golf course that doesn’t give you much for free. Currently sitting T24 and still a chance to improve with how bunched the leaderboard is. Another 18 holes tomorrow… let’s see what we can scramble out of it 👊⛳️ #trusttheprocess #questfortheopen #qfto

Bryson DeChambeau hasn’t played since the Ryder Cup and he won’t be again until LIV Golf Riyadh in February. He says he’s been speed training through the off season though and has a target of reaching a comfortable 200mph ball speed. He’s also been playing table tennis with America’s number 1, Kanak Jha. Speaking to Tom Hobbs from Flushing It Golf, Bryson said: “I’m not playing until Riyadh. I’m going to be going in hot though. I’m sneaky working on my game really hard. “I'm going to start ramping up my speed again. I ramped up my speed in November, got it to where I was pumping over 190 quite efficiently with some slow golf balls and stuff. I got to 200 quite a bit. “I haven’t done much recently though. I was playing some ping pong actually the past couple of days with the number one USA player, Kanak Jha. He's so much fun. Ping Pong is my favourite sport, so I got to learn a little bit from the best in the U.S. He’s twenty first in the world. So nobody's really gotten that high from the U.S. which is sweet. “But I'll get back to speed training right after Christmas and going into the new season, I want to be close to 200. So that's my goal. I’ll just get to a place where I’m super comfortable swinging fast.” The last time Bryson went after speed he gained an enormous amount of mass. He’s come back down through the weights though over the last few seasons and is much healthier for it. But, if Force = Mass x Acceleration, will he look to add more mass again and what’s more important, increasing acceleration or gaining mass? “They're both very important. If you don't have any mass, you can't accelerate it. It's a symbiotic relationship. It's actually more like F equals M V squared, that’s more of the velocity side of it. “You can accelerate too, but what I would say is the most important thing is it's not necessarily the mass or the acceleration, it’s the ability to put pressure onto the club. So you're able to apply pressure and control that through your grip strengths around a circle, that's probably the more important piece. Applying controlled pressure to the golf club like grip pressure. “It's not that you just accelerate the club, because you have to learn how to control the face through that motion as well. So it's all, you know, you can say it's acceleration, but it's a lot of grip pressure stuff. The more you control the grip pressure and how you're moving that grip, I would say that’s more the answer to your question. “And I guess at a certain point there’s dimishning return with, you know, going up in the mass and even down in the mass. There is a sweet spot for swinging a golf club. If you get a speedstick, there's just not enough mass behind it to create the smash factor necessary, and vice versa if it is too heavy, you can’t swing it that fast. “I'll always say swinging and accelerating the club is probably the most important, but the real answer is applying the most pressure to the golf club. The grip pressure. You’re not gripping it tighter, but your hand force into it pulling it and then throwing it around the corner.” Continues in comments thread below. The past year has seen me have a renaissance, in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.

Bit of end of cycle / start of year testing AKA gym yap Front Squat 140kg: Very happy with this given I've only been back squatting for 9 weeks, and that's the longest cycle I've been able to string together in like 5+ years. I can technically call this a PB since it was beltless, sleeveless and less fat bodyweight so over the moon here. Backsquats of any nature keep tweaking my lower back so gonna stick with fronts for the rest of the year. Bench 140kg: Ive done this a lot in the last 10 years, but I was always 105kg bodyweight or more. So to do it at 97kg is a big win. Pressing power has been feeling horrible for the last year or so and I couldn't figure out a good programme, so happy that it's finally clicked again. Deadlift 200kg: Tweaked my lower back 3 times last year and put a lot of effort into fixing it up and strengthening it. 200 was easy so I did attempt 220kg but as soon as it left the ground either I would have failed or had a 10 second grind on my hands so decided to just not risk it. Goal for last year was to get healthy enough to be able to train the deadlift again and I achieved that so despite being far from my best of 262.5kg I've very pleased Ive been able to get to a position where I can train it again without headaches or lower back tweaks. OHP 80kg: Haven't trained OHP in a year or more, and stopped doing behind the neck press 3 months ago when I started benching more, so just wanted to do this for fun. Bit off my best of 95kg but its funny how much strength you retain without even doing a vertical press. Cutting down to 90kg again over the next 2-3 months then will see where I can take these over the rest of the year. No real numbers in mind, just happy to be able to train hard.

OHP 80kg: Haven't trained OHP in a year or more, and stopped doing behind the neck press 3 months ago when I started benching more, so just wanted to do this for fun. Bit off my best of 95kg but its funny how much strength you retain without even doing a vertical press. Cutting down to 90kg again over the next 2-3 months then will see where I can take these over the rest of the year. No real numbers in mind, just happy to be able to train hard.

No tweets last two days cuz I was doing my day job with my coach/boss Sean Foley. First swing is what I’m trying to feel. Really get to my right side, stay there during the transition and then go thru. Reason for this is I have a tendency to pull really hard with my arms and shift too early in the transition causing the club to get too far out. Then to get it back inside, I side bend late which causes too much flipping.

JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. I hope I get to do this for the rest of my life… Full of gratitude and lots of all the lovely emotions. Thank you so much.”
