Anthropic's just dropped Claude 3.7 Sonnet, the best coding AI model in the world. I was an early tester, and it blew my mind. It created this Minecraft clone in one prompt, and made it instantly playable in artifacts:

What's different about Claude 3.7 Sonnet is that it uses a hybrid reasoning approach. Basically, it can produce instant responses when needed or think step-by-step like OpenAI o3 or DeepSeek R1. The "Extended Thinking Mode" has huge improvements in math, physics, instruction-following, coding, and more.

Alongside the announcement, Anthropic launched Claude Code, an agentic coding assistant. It allows developers to delegate tasks to Claude directly from their terminal. I didn't get early access to this feature, but I will share an update after I try it!
