🇮🇳 300 million participate in national strike in India “We will not allow the government to impose anti-worker labor laws upon us.” Three hundred million workers in India took to the streets in India for a national strike against the reform to labor laws imposed by the far-right BJP government and other attacks on workers' rights. A key demand of the strike was also to call for India's withdrawal from the recent deals made with the United States and the European Union, which only benefit the rich minorities of the country at the expense of workers.

The safety of workers is critical and so are the facts. There’s been a lot said about the CFMEU and Victorian workers this week. We stand firmly for workers’ rights. For fair pay, safe workplaces, and secure conditions. No one should fear having their wages cut or their hard-earned entitlements clawed back. And we can’t let this serious issue be the subject of untested and unfounded information. Victorians deserve honesty and workers deserve protection, not political games and the deep desire of the Liberals to claw back workers pay and conditions.
