Rodrigo Duterte has no idea the sort of monster he has awoken by trying to backstab the Marcoses. I have no idea what's fueling his delusions of grandeur if he thinks his filthy mount alone can take down that family. It took the combined effort of the united Liberal opposition, the Left, the military, the Catholic Church, the Metro Manila middle class. civic societies and the business sector and raw luck to drive the Marcos family into exile back in 1986, and that still didn't end then permanently. The Yellows, on the other hand, were afraid - VERY afraid of the Marcoses returning because they knew how cunning the family is when they get power and how hard it would be to unseat them when they return. They dueled with that family for decade and respected their enemy like any good chess player should. Now a demented warlord from Davao thinks be can bring the family from Ilocos down with just his force of will and a loadspeaker? Insane. The Marcoses have been plotting their return for over 30 years. This was a multi-generational grand plan for them and their central aim was always one thing - the preservation of the family. Duterte fucked up when he threatened the family's political existence and sought to undermine their dream of returning and clearing the way for future generations of Marcoses. This is existential for them and they will bring down the full weight of their political, financial and cultural on the errant former mayor from the south. I suggest Duterte watch Maid in Malacanang. It's loyalist propaganda, yes, but it is a vision into the fantasies that inhabit the mind of the Marcos family; how they view history and the image they wish to convey. It shows a family fixated on one thing - returning and when they've returned, to stay. It is an avatar of the Marcos id. Perhaps then, Duterte will understand the powers he is facing and that he cannot hope to win.

Congressman Zia Alonto Adiong pointed out that the Duterte bloc and the majority of Senators only respect the Supreme Court ruling only when it is convenient. When it favors their principal — Sara Zimmerman Duterte. The House of Representatives are merely exhausting all legal remedies to protect the power granted to them by the 1987 Constitution. The Supreme Court ruled in Pangilinan et al vs. Cayetano et. all that the ICC has jurisdiction in supposed crimes committed before the Philippines from the ICC (G.R. No. 238875). It is important to note that the cases included in the Crimes Against Humanity case of Rodrigo Roa Duterte were within the time/ date we’re still a member of the International Criminal Court. The recent rumblings of withdrawal of support by retired Armed Forces of the Philippines officers, from President Marcos in favor of VP Sara Duterte, represents another escalation in the ongoing rift between the Marcos and Duterte camps. So far, all credible defense and political commentators in the country view this as the mere rantings of a few angry old men with no backing from active AFP personal. What cannot be doubted now though is that there is a concerted effort to pressure the Marcos administration with threats of military-backed destabilization combined with backroom efforts to foment such destabilizations. These videos, combined with recent statements from the Duterte camps and reports of coup plots mentioned by no less than the AFP Chief of Staff Romeo Brawner himself, paints a picture of insane desperation by the anti-Marcos/pro-Duterte camps who would rather see a military-backed popular uprising than see Pres. Marcos finish his term of office. This is seditious madness and unconstitutional. The Vice-President Sara Duterte must condemn this publicly and the Philippine National Police and National Security Council should crack down on these instigators who want to bring down our constitutional order in favor of a "Revolutionary Government" with Sara Duterte as head. God save the Philippines from one Sara Zimmerman Duterte I saw this video on Instagram and although I rarely share videos like this, I sincerely think it sums up everything that is wrong with the Sara Duterte Holy Week message. I dare say that she is indeed worse than her father! At least Rodrigo Roa Duterte did not try to package himself as a God-loving person, while Sara Duterte with some obviously fake facial expressions and calm tone of voice just recorded a video. Saying words that obviously do not reflect her values! I do not know about the flock of Quiboloy or the Iglesia ni Cristo, but the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church value accountability and honesty. Our teaching does not condone killing one person, more so if thousands. It doesn’t celebrate the death of even the most sinful of men, not drug addicts and especially their so-called “collateral damages”. Her values are the exact opposite of the teachings you must reflect on as Catholics or Christians this Holy Week. Practice what you preach, Madam! Video: jusquapilipinas
