In a video, when asked where he saw himself in 10 years, his answer was chilling. He said he would probably be in Evin Prison, not because he planned to do anything wrong, but because in Iran, doing your job honestly as a lawyer can land you in prison. He was later murdered during protests by forces of the regime in Iran. In a system this tyrannical, even the people meant to uphold the law grow up expecting a prison cell.
